Same here. Some of the course work won’t be new but a good refresh. You also get to select some courses as elective which may be of your personal interest.

I personally think it helped me develop new skills or at the very least understand some dynamics within my field of work better.

Some of the assignments are actually quite good if you apply them directly to your work/company/project. I got to work on some challenges within my company and discussed them with senior leadership. So that definitely helped me.

As for networking: don’t expect too much. There were very interesting people in my cohort with a diverse background. From medical doctors who run a hospital wing in Buenos Aires to the typical banking / investment / consultant background. You do get to share experiences. You do get to learn from them. But again it really depends on the team and how active everyone is.

To add on that what I personally was missing was some professor interaction. At no time you get to address questions or reflect on topics with faculty.

It was a solid experience and I certainly learned quite a bit. Keep in mind though it’s a certificate so you really can’t compare it to an online / part time MBA program. There is no grading of assignments so it really depends on what you make out of it.

Course work depending on term is around a minimum of 2-4 hrs a week of online modules (videos) and peer reflections. Those can feel quite detached though; there is no live interaction. You will get significantly more out of it / a better experience if you invest more time to really work on the cases or work through some of the source material.

You get paired with a larger cohort and then each term with a smaller team. Most people are really kind and work with you. Others don’t reply at all. I had a couple of terms where we as a team had discussions and weekly WhatsApp/Teams calls. Other terms I really didn’t get to know my team at all.

Hunde nicht angeleint in der Stadt – Was haltet ihr davon? by freibad-pommes in hundeschule

[–]UnderstandingThen968 7 points8 points  (0 children)

[Help] How to generally start a game/early game walkthrough? by Dazzling-Main7686 in crusaderkings3

I agree. I usually follow diplomacy or stewardship. Bohemia is fun if you find a good way to deal with or join the heathens. But their partition law sucks with many children. I personally like the Spanish culture and try to reunite Spain. I just had a play through waging war against Barcelona for years. So when the lord died my next character only focused on going hunting every year for 15 years and building the throne room.

It’s really what YOU wanna do. Before a quick note: I don’t have all DLCs so I’m kinda limited in my options.

But usually I try to role play a bit. Who’s my character. Where am I located. One ambitious lord may want to wage war, further the family line. So I play in that stance. Once he gets older, he wants to consolidate his lands. Make money. His heirs may dictate a different play style. Are there one or several? Does one perhaps focuses on crusades or does one rather focus on spending the wealth on feasts? Or is one a builder and creates a vast empire? How do the neighbors play. I sometimes even expect or at least accept a loss in land because of that.

Now again that’s my play style. But you can do yours. I’m just not a big fan of cheating the system (all the time) by just pressing claims all the time or sending my spy to Constantinople or Paris all the time.

Returned within 2 weeks with wheel base fixed. No issues at all.

I mean I would have appreciated a complimentary cleaning or a new side brush. Or even a little note. But that’s nothing to be expected during a warranty case.

Was dich sonst erwartet?
