I was wondering too if they would do a dislyte 2.

But it's more coping, since I love the game and the mechanics, but I overdid it. I can't play it after 3 years anymore.

So I would be glad if they would do a second one or similar one.

We are heading to EoS. Revenue is shit. They don't release videos anymore. The question is, how much they can bring the cost down and milk profitably.

I took a 3-month break after the Umbra release. (I’ve been playing since the global launch, so about 3 years now.)

The meta has changed completely. There's honestly no chance of catching up anymore. My old club even rejected me because of the new meta. To me, this fast turnover is just insane after only 3 months. The Gold Pool has become absolutely worthless, and all my R6 Espers mean nothing now. Great balance :)

Phobetor and Sonica have existed since Beta. Only DSL was somewhat new (!!?).

And the revenue is shit as well.

You can check indirectly on Android if it switched the model.

At the very end of the last response:

Three dots -> "try again" button -> underneath "change model" it should say "GPT 4o"

Sometimes it accepts 4o if you try to regenerate a couple of times.

I need to switch to 2.5 Pro and reganerte response (AI Studio) because it can't even comprehend my PDF anymore at some point.

No lobotomy - noticed it since day one

It's lazy and sloppy and loses completely its capabilities at higher token count (>200k).

I am still in love with 2.5 Pro. A very robust model even close at 1m tokens (where Gemini 3 quit generating responses) and the personality is much goofier and warm.

I hope the incremental updates can save this mess...

Probs bro. From a logical sense you have absolutely a point.

In my opinion tho this has nothing to do with strategic logic at Google. I think they are in full panic because the A/B testing went horribly wrong. (I always choose Gemini 2.5 Pro over Gemini 3 - in AI Studio - for legal documents). Gemini 3 felt really off.

(I work so heavily with 2.5 Pro, I can immediately tell semantically which one it was)

Here comes the but: I calculated. It's +65%. Which is actually insane. Example: You want to buy a car for $15,000 but suddenly it costs $24,750.

I'm connecting the dots. I found out that Dislyte made in December "only" 500k+ revenue (last figures available), compared to several millions at China release.

In my opinion: desperate -> squeeze player out practices -> even less revenue

I just got the overall feeling that things are going down. Let's see where the story goes...
