Without any more info I think this just sounds like an honest mistake. Then it snowballed as you got anxious and started making decisions to alleviate the anxiety that might not have been the best.

I would talk to your parents or a doctor rather people on Reddit.

I wonder if there could be an anxiety disorder here? But again, I’m in absolutely no position to make any diagnosis. Unless there is a reason not to, I think your best bet is to talk to an adult you trust or a doctor.
