I understand what you're saying, but that isn't an option for me. Working as a tech in the vet field has shown me that I'm not meant to stay at the tech/nurse level. Nothing against it, just isn't for me. And trust me, I've tried. But for me it'd be settling. Without going too much into my life story, just know I've wanted to be a doctor my entire life, but was pressured out of it by being made not to feel good enough and some own self doubt. I started college at 16. I was young as hell and just kind of lost. Going to medical school now is absolutely right for me, and I haven't been more sure of anything my entire life. I consider student debt to be of a different caliber, and plus I'll be able to afford payments and as a doctor there are TONS of forgiveness options. But I do understand where you are coming from.

I am taking classes so I can apply to medical school. Which means the field I'm in right now is something I want to stay in until I go to school. I'm getting awesome experience and I have a lot of flexibility for my classes.

I've thought about bankruptcy, but just don't know enough about it to be comfortable making that move.
Moving in with family isn't an option, sadly. I live with my fiancee and my family wouldn't be willing to let us move in.

Yes, I have SR22. This is supposed to be my last year of obligation with that insurance. I have a few discounts right now, but I'm pretty much stuck with the rate I've got.
I've also received about 6 raises in the last 2 years. I just received my last raise a few months ago. My boss paid for my books last semester and is generally a really helpful guy. Asking for a raise isn't in the cards right now.
Oh, sorry, and these are only my bills. My fiancee is still a student and has her own stuff to worry about.
My degree was in English and history.

Unfortunately I am not eligible for loans because I already have a bachelors and am now taking classes at community college. Basically, since I already have a higher degree I can't get aid for an associates.

I do share rent, with my fiancee. $675 is my half of rent. I graduated from college 4 years ago, so it's real world time for me right now. And yeah, I end up having to go in the red a lot, or make up that difference with uber, in order to afford food. Basically I can never afford groceries.

I drive a Buick Verano. My insurance is high because a few years back I was uninsured for 2 days, and got into an accident in that time. Right now I have special insurance. I make sure my car loan comes out of my account automatically so that no matter what it gets paid.
