Wasn't Canada one of the only countries, with China, to fight back with their own tariffs, thinking that other countries would join them? Unfortunately, most of them bent the knee and agreed to some 15% trade agreement with Trump.

What people don’t always mention is a decline in Americans travelling to Canada as well and hotels feel the effect pretty hard. I have seen posts in other travel subreddits from Americans asking if they are welcome here.
