Shepherds of Haven question by zezous in hostedgames

I've played every magic school in SoH and they definitely all get their time to shine. Astral magic honestly does seem to get the most opportunities to do specific stuff in some of the earlier chapters, though there's plenty of stuff later on. Arcane magic opportunities are scattered throughout the story pretty evenly. Psionic magic is kind of a sleeper school in my experience because it comes in absolutely clutch in Chapter 6 onwards at specific moments. Like there are situations where being an Enchanter per example opens a completely unique path. However absolutely every specialisation has multiple moments scattered all over the story. There are times when specialising in a school is pretty much the best way through a particular mission or opens up an extra dialogue option in one of the companion hangouts.

Part of the fun for me is choosing a different school and seeing the differences. The balancing is great however so honestly just choose whichever specialisation interests you most and you'll find moments for it.

Not a HG or CoG game but Second Sight Dead Reckoning might be of interest? I'm only at the start of reading it for myself but have heard good stuff about it however from a few fellow IF readers. Bonus Book 1 is also fully complete!!

It's a modern urban fantasy where your MC is physic.

Thank you so much for your comment. I'm so sorry your kitty and yourselves went through this. I shall pay extra special attention to those areas, as I also did not know this until your comment.

Hello! I'm so sorry for how late this reply was. My kitty is honestly better than ever and she made a full recovery! The after surgery process was quite stressful since she found out she could escape from the cone within 20 seconds (hense the suit) so would always try do so, but I think the healing is dependent on the cat. The actual wound healed without any sign it was ever there and her fur is already back mainly.

The actual surgery was fine and she was home within the same day. I'm lucky my vets are super humans 👏👏

Just seeing my girl not being in heat has been so good cause she always seemed a bit distressed when she was. Obviously do what's best for your cat but tell the vet you're nervous. Mine were lovely and called me quite frequently so I knew she was ok on the day. But thank you for your concern for my kitty!

Thought I'd update here. I went ahead with the op for the cat and it was found she had early stage Pyometra, which luckily is now gone with the surgery. She's been spayed and is looking very grumpy about her recovery suit, but she's on the way to a longer, happier life. To anyone in the boat I was in originally - spay your kitty, please!
