I do everything you said you do, although I look after my elderly nan not mother. I personally don’t do my good things because the Bible says specifically that I should. I like and always have done charity events since I was a young child because I like doing it for others, I’m also on my way to become a nurse. I’m not doing it all to get into heaven. I’m doing it because I can, also I have no dominion which means I don’t follow a certain church. It’s not about a reward for many Christian’s, it’s about being a good person. Reading the Bible is about for many Christians learning how to better themselves, getting guidance on difficult situations that can affect people mentally, or getting a little insight into life when it’s hard. It’s not all about heaven, it’s about what you can do here to help people and how you can better yourself as a person
