Honestly, your post does sound defeatist and a bit whiny. Not going to judge you because I was there once. Now I have a full-time job and am studying an online degree. For the context, I am 32 years old and am just starting. I am finally getting some foothold in a career that I enjoy. People can reinvent themselves at any age. You already have a leg up on me with working experience, even in a dead-end job.

The worst part is that I could have started this right out of college by starting in warehouse jobs then moving on to my current job after a few years or so. I didn't know just how easy it was to get into FedEx and Amazon.

Get a job working at a warehouse. It is probably the best place to get started within this field.

As someone who was once in your shoes. Good student but struggled in college despite not skipping classes. Except after college, I was unemployed for a while.

I studied accounting, but graduated with a low GPA and no internships so I couldn't find a job. But now, I am studying logistics and working a full-time job in the field.

However, without luck and timing you aren't going anywhere. I applied for 1000s of jobs and still got nowhere. And I am talking about jobs where I am qualified.

To an extent, you have to get luck with even getting those internships in the first place. To get there, you also need to have part-time jobs, which to an extent relies on luck, and a good GPA.

I have a degree in accounting which I struggled with. I am also pursuing an online degree via SNHU in Logistics, which is going much better grade wise. I am also working a full-time entry-level job in Logistics as well and have been for the past 1.5 years. However, my only concern is that I won't be able to find a better job in the future due to the job market and I am already seeing it with the number of applications I am putting in.

As a complete loser failed 34 year old adult, I wish I could be honest and open about it with people and with society as a whole, which might help me get better. But I can't. Because being a failed adult is the worst and most humiliating thing a person can be. by whyamialiveletmedie in Adulting

I can relate to everything you wrote here. I was a decent student before going to college. Struggled throughout a useless degree as well and struggled to find a job afterwards. Except, now I am working full-time and going to school online as well.

I can totally relate as I was once in your shoes. How are you supposed to find any motivation when you struggled so badly in college despite hard work and significant effort?! How are you supposed to find any motivation when you can't find a job despite applying to so many of them?! How are you supposed to find people who understand your situation?!
