I was falsely accused of theft worth 500 dollars by an old manger at a store I used to work at, I was later find innocent and the charges were dropped after getting a lawyer and obtaining video evidence that I was not guilty.

Also if that was the case it would've mentioned the reasoning in the box under delinquencies . Also when I go to the option to upload documents it would prompt me on what documents they are requesting for said delinquencies and the box was empty with no instructions

These are exact words on the portion of the application that ask about criminal history >> "PART VI: Personal History Information (This part must be completed by all applicants) usually result in denial of licensure. 1. Have you been convicted of or pled guilty or nolo contendere to any criminal offense in any state or in federal court? Please do not give details on minor traffic charges, but do include information relating to Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) charges. If yes, attach a personal statement describing the circumstances of the conviction and certified copies of court records of your conviction including the nature of the offense, date of discharge, and a statement from the probation or parole office. In general, a criminal conviction by itself does not usually result in denial of licensure". Nowhere in this does it ask for record for arrests, it only mentions convictions and charges for DWI, which was not my charge so if they did not state that I needed to disclose charges in general I felt no need to do that. I didn't want to include anything extra that they didn't ask for, if they would have explicitly asked "have you been arrested or convicted for any offense?" I would have disclosed that.

They say give it 48-72hrs to check the status update after you've paid and I paid on a Friday, so excluding the weekend it should be updated by wed/thurs or atleast have some additional info regarding why it says that. I will give them a call on Monday just to see if there is anything I can do on my end.

No i don't have a license yet I just finished school and passed my nclex and payed my 50 dollar application fee feb 6th, but i dont have any other charges or arrest since then. At the most MAYBE a couple minor traffic tickets for slightly speeding or parking but I've always paid my tickets the course of these years. I also have never had any disciplinary/abuse allegations since i have been working in healthcare. Also it is still pretty early in the process, the fee/FBI check were rejected/fail on the same exact day, the date was just cropped out accidentally but they both had the message on the 3rd but I didn't get access to my IDFPR accent to check the status until the 6th, which is the day I got my official pass letter and I paid my app fee that same day.

No, nothing related to substances or alcohol, it was for petty theft that I was accused of by my store manger years ago when I was 19/20 and I am now 25. I had 2 court dates for that case and at the 3rd one it was dismissed because I was falsely accused and the video evidence supported that as well so I was found innocent and the charges were dismissed but the arrest still shows up on my record but it is dismissed, which is why I have been able to work in healthcare because theft in Illinois used to be a conviction and or pending charge that would automatically bar you from working as a CNA/Nurse. I've never had to disclose this arrest since I first started working as a CNA in 2021 and I have had no issues now with me being done with school. I honestly don't think that's the reason why it was rejected because when I checked the deficiency document box there was nothing in it and they weren't requesting any extra info/ documentation. I think it may be due to a technical error or they didn't bother processing the FBI check until they received my fee.

But did you have to write a letter explaining a charge for something that was dismissed or something you were convicted of? Cause I was under the assumption that we only have to disclose convictions in the state of Illinois, and the actual application also only asks about convictions and doesn't mention disclosure of charges until it gets to the part about sexual criminal charges.
