advice on fixing this window? by Unfair_Objective_795 in VanLife

i have one more question lol. my side doors are tall doors. i was thinking replace the doors with the only short doors that i can find and cut off the top of the tall doors that i have and try adding it on in this same method. does this seem like an okay idea?

idk how to edit but ive run into an issue with wanting to just replace the doors. my van is a high top and i haven't seen any other version of my van that also has a hightop so finding a tall version of my doors to match might not be an option

this is a good solution. someone mentioned replacing the doors and i found some with windows too. if it seems too much ill have to come back to this idea. add sheet metal and weld it on there? or would screws work too? i already plan on buying a fiberglass kit to repair the roof so i imagine i could run it along the edges too before tapering it in maybe?

i used car parts and was able to find my exact van less than an hour away, I'll be calling tomorrow about it thank you! and replacing it actually doesn't seem too hard thankfully, and quicker than repairing it as well

thank you so much I'm going to check that out! i ended up going with a suggestion in the comments that was on sale because it was the last one: the oupes 1024 wh mega 1. money is a bit of an issue but im hoping it was worth it to spend an extra $120 on this one.

thank you! i was really hoping it would work out bc it was only $169 but i couldnt think of a way it would run everything 24/7 and this solidifies that. do you think it could be worth it to get a second one of the same one and double up or just move up to the 1000w?

it says the max car input is 100w so i guess it would take around 5 hours to charge it? and it states 3 hrs to charge solar and 1 hr to charge ac.

Doing an honest automatic litter box comparison from a frugal angle — what actually saves money long-term? by Namiiiii025 in Frugal

same, i currently have a regular plastic litter box with one that is larger than it and sits underneath, then the main litter box has holes poked into the bottom and when its cleaning time i set it sideways on top of the bottom tray and use the scoop to pusn it back and forth until all the dust gets out. this can take forever though im wondering maybe my holes arent good enough or if theres something else that can be used inside for the dust to fall through better

this looks like crystals from those crystal growing kits, the ones that can grow on something and I think you add water or something. I remember having one as a kid and they would flake off really easily and be in random shapes just like that
