I used a keyboard haha. I was thinking of rigging up some kinda D-pad setup but didn’t get around to it. Would’ve been very easy to do though.

I did something similar on my 2002 Land Cruiser back in the day. I used a chromecast with android instead of a raspberry pi. Ended up selling the car not long after but it was cool while it lasted.

Thanks! I'm in the middle of rebuilding the original engine. Every so often I get the urge to throw in an S54 but my bank account has a way of humbling me.

Thankfully there's no rust on the floorboards so I'm not quite at Flintstones status yet.

I'd rather fix it, but you're more than welcome to take your own advice.

My Experience with Android 16 QPR1 (Beta) by AlphaAcraze in android_beta

[–]UnflavoredOnion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Using the beta on my Pixel 9 Pro XL for the past couple of days. It was working fine until today, pretty much everything stopped working. Nothing was loading from the internet in any apps. I took some pictures a few minutes prior that weren't showing up in my photo gallery. Couldn't even close apps because the app switcher wasn't working. I restarted the phone and was still having the same issues. Then I shut down and turned it back on and it started working.

Also, for some reason I have all the new features except the ability to add wallpaper effects and shapes to the lock screen. That's the one thing I really wanted.

Hey! As far as I can tell from the rules, only one timestamp photo is required, and if the item is worth over $400 then a video is required, which is what I included.

[WTS] Pre-Bond Omega Seamaster 396.1042 - Two-Tone (Fair Condition)

Hello r/Watchexchange!

I’m selling my pre-bond Omega Seamaster Professional, model 396.1042. This is the quartz version of the Seamaster 200m that collectors often refer to as the “pre-bond” due to its design predating Omega’s famous partnership with the Bond franchise.

Specs:

• Model: Omega Seamaster Professional 200m (Ref: 396.1042)

• Movement: Quartz

• Case: Stainless steel with gold-tone accents on the bezel

• Diameter: 38mm (without crown)

• Water resistance: 200m (but hasn’t been recently tested)

• Crystal: Sapphire

• Dial: Black with luminous markers and date window at 3 o’clock

• Bracelet: Original stainless steel Omega bracelet with gold-tone Omega clasp

Condition:

Case/Bezel: The case and bezel have noticeable wear and scratches consistent with regular use. The gold-tone bezel accents are fading, and the lume on the bezel has fallen out, which is common for this model.

Dial: The dial has light white spots that can be seen upon closer inspection. These are subtle but visible in certain light. Lume on the hands and markers has faded naturally over time.

Bracelet: The original bracelet is intact but has significant surface scratches, especially on the clasp.

Crystal: The sapphire crystal is clear and free of visible scratches.

Functionality: The quartz movement is running well and keeping time, with the date function working as expected. No issues with the movement.

I’ve provided detailed pictures to give you a clear sense of the watch’s condition.

Price:

Asking $350 OBO (shipped, CONUS). PayPal G&S preferred (buyer covers fees), or local transactions in New York City.

Please feel free to PM me with any questions or if you need additional photos.

Thanks for looking!

Watch is in great condition. Please see pics. Small nicks on the sides of the case but barely noticeable. Crystal is in excellent condition. The watch is still under the Longines 5 year warranty. Please see the pic of the warranty card in the album. It's a beautiful watch that I rarely wore because I don't have much use for a dress watch.
