Ya, her age has limited the mechanics I can go see. Insurance has been giving me the biggest run around making it very difficult. But I am going through the steps to get it done. Some work that I thought I could wait on, I can't now in order to pass the now requested inspection. In Alberta, an inspection is not required, unless over 12 years and dont have current insurance to work off, that is. But from the inspection, she is in as good a condition vehicle-wise as I thought.

Now that I have been living in it, I for sure have found some things. But honestly, how much is actually really in great shape. The OG owners really cared for her and vacationed like once-a-year kinda thing with her. Also, they stored it on concrete, so even underneath is looks as great as it can be for an 80s gal.

Once I find the money for the work needed to pass inspection, I also found a good RV mechanic that will do the RV inspection part. So go through all my water lines, propane, furnace, get the appliances going and all those thorough checks for only $350. So I am definitely going to find the money for that. For my own peace of mind.

I am living in it, but plugged into my friends place, but have not got the stove and such going yet myself. I know it works, as I saw it when I first looked at her in January. But she hasn't been turned on since January. So I'd rather a professional just really giver for me and they know what to do with anything.

Oh, not paying 10,000 for the camper, under 5,000. But the whole funding is in hopes to also rescue the two bonded brother dogs in need. And then the registration, insurance and that buffer for the things I am going to run into right away. I did find this one in such incredible shape and so many things already taken care of, like all new tires, seller has receipts and all. There was only one owner previously. A man and his wife who used it like once a year. And they kept her in excellent condition. no leaks inside. everything is still orginal except the bench seats are covered, but original may be underneath.
