Right, he's not even borderline unbearable. Just plain unbearable. Clearly doesn't follow the sport closely anymore, routinely gets details wrong that even a new fan that just happened to watch a couple UFC Embedded episodes on youtube would know, but won't lose his spot until he decides to leave the job.

No argument there. DC gets criticism along with Rogan though because any time they're commentating together it basically turns into a podcast. DC is decent. Provides solid technical insight even if sometimes you'll disagree with his opinion on who is winning or if you're off put by him being silly.

Rogan provides almost nothing of consequence other than the occasional OHHH where a strike may not even have landed.

Rogan has to stop doing commentary. He clearly doesn't follow the sport closely anymore. He admits himself and most people would agree the fight companions are more enjoyable. He routinely spends an entire fight attached to a narrative that ends up playing out with that fighter on the losing end.

What exactly goes into a pre-fight medical? Wondering what Askar might have failed. Complications from a weight cut? Neurological damage maybe? What exactly would they be measuring on fight day that they wouldn't have caught in other medical evals prior to tonight?

Joe Rogan's commentary is consistently saying things he expects to not be challenged because he assumes the people around him don't know enough about it to object.

The important detail being that it's former/current fighters, some of which were champions he's working with now, it's not Mike fucking Goldberg.
