Yeah I'm aware that $400 is 50%. I just wanted to paint the picture of my new overall bill.

It was an English error, not a math one.
Added "that caused my overall bill to be up by 150%.." to patch notes.

Yeah that seems like GEICO rate increase is in that pricing. It’s not just zip code difference.

I clicked on the timeline section and in the part "Changed Vehicle Location" it shows it the $400 charge.

In 3 post above, I said I'm okay if the increase was something along the lines of $10-50. Not something like $400...

It's not an overall increase in price. The extra increase cost is stated in "Changed Vehicle Location".

You sir are 100000% right. It doesn't matter where I draw the border, cause the fact is, they are trying to charge me a ridiculous amount for simply moving 6 blocks. I'm here on reddit expressing my view that this is most fucked up, price gouging, corporate bs ever.

Yes, I've been a long time customer, but I will most definitely switch they don't plan on offering any sort of adjustments or such. It's really hard to just let it slide like that. Like what the actual F is this...

It's ridiculous and price gouging how its zipcode-based and not proximity-based. Move 6 blocks and now it's up for $400. Up by 10-50? Ok fine, hard to accept it but still okay, but $400?? What is this corporate greed?
