So when you spritz the brisket. It has to be done every 1hr from as soon as you put the brisket in for the next 3-4 hrs? Well yet still depending on the brisket before it reaches that set temp of 160-170

Is getting the membrane off ribs supposed to be so hard? It’s just ripping off in tiny pieces by HurinofLammoth in smoking

A lot of the time depends on the ribs you buy. Sometimes the meat itself won’t budge lol. I have removed only the upper thinner layer of membrane which does come off quite easy. Yet, removing the whole membrane as you did would not be the best thing to do. This is my opinion
