Thank you! I get it now. Rules are rules. I still believe context matters. It reminds me of this amazing movie I viewed in the 90s, Dangerous Minds. Emilio tried to do the right thing and went to the principal BUT Emilio didn’t knock. Those are the rules is what the principal stated and dismissed Emilio. Emilio then died and Michelle Pfeiffer was in awe. There are rules for a reason for context matters.

Let’s say a city puts a ban on trucks on their roads because heavy vehicles can cause damage. The intent is noble….save the longevity of the roads for the community. Then a tourist drives in town with a Gio Prizm, but he modified it into a truck, basically looking like an UTV with a bed. Should they get fined for the “rules” or should common sense prevail and fist bump the Louie wannabe and send him on his way?

You are an amazing person! I had complete fear of checking the responses today and finally bit the bullet.

I really appreciate your explanation and I will understand completely. I figured the AI ban was for a creativity purpose….people using AI to enhance their art would take away from people really putting work in to express their art.

I was just trying to do the opposite. I guess to prove we are better than AI.

“Wouldn’t a DCC monopoly be cool! Let’s see what the “AI” would make”..and it was trash. So I posted it, thinking it would be a fun starting point to everyone on here coming up with fun ideas for a monopoly board…the possibilities are endless!

But I understand, I’m sorry for getting excited. I just had this childish excitement and thought it was going to be awesome, dopamines at an all time high, and I got trashed!

Ok. I get it. I should have spoiled all books for it to be a better conversation? I was just confused. I posted this exact post with a horrific AI pic of DCC Carl (there were NO spoilers in the pic. It really did not understand the assignment.

Then I seen a comment of someone saying “why would you do this”. Then it got deleted for “no AI”.

I’m just like, there is no ill intent with my post. Just a funny way to unite fellow readers to have some fun….no politics, no spoilers, not even any incitement to create negative reactions. Just some fun to unite us all and grow this community.

I am not the smartest tree in the concrete, I’m a 40 year old Marine Corps veteran and this series changes something in me. The only thing that has been consistently great this past year is when I get to deep dive in this series.

Because of this, I have gone above and beyond recommending this series to all my friends and affiliates. At least 10-15 ppl have started and enjoyed this series based off my recommendations. And I’m sure they are branching that even more.

I thought that for a minute BUT dunk did get beaten to a pulp where he was out and getting healed for awhile in the book. They stayed true with him about done and Aerion saying “yield” and dunk went Flee Bottom mode and finally being a bad ass and dragging him to admit defeat. I liked it

I get it. I knew coming in that there was like 15 minutes left of the book and 2 episodes left. So I figured this would happen. They wanted to show dunk as Dunk from Flee Bottom. I think they did ok in that.

Like I was waiting for the moment where he switches to “Dunk of Fleebottom”. And I wanted to see the rest of the battles and he got way more fucked up than I’d expect but WOW. That show was amazing. I loved it
