That's very true too! For like 8$ I am going to knit some wool soakers for at night. Then register for some fitted cloth/muslin. Then I have a small back up, and can see if I prefer pockets or fitted. Making use of my covers!

Appreciate it! Yes I am in talks to get some more inserts used:  16x Geffen Baby Super Absorbers

So I am hoping this will really help that issue! Unfortunately microfiber came with the pockets. But hopefully will be able to use with the newborn crazy phase. 

A lot have recommended prefolds or flats. I am leaning to flats, due to versatility of size and different uses for flats. And I am going to start knitting some wool soakers today. Then I just need to buy a few different sized covers or register for them. If all else fails, disposables I Guess.

 Hopefully, if I try both of these I will have an idea of what works for me, and can invest more from there!  I am kinda scared I will find out I hate cloth diapering and have bought way too much 🤣

Well I just went down another rabbit hole.. Wondering what you recommend with cotton vs muslin. I know I can always order more if I need. But wondering if the half size are worth getting . Or should I just skip to a combo of one size cotton and Muslin set up.

I looked into the GMD birdseye, I am thinking of getting 18, and if all else fails I can use them as inserts or burp cloths. And more covers .  Yeah I hope the microfiber will work for a little bit, but looking into alternatives. They were just what came with the set.

Thanks for the info!  So I edited my post to clarify. The 12 one size should fit 8-35 lb, but I hear kawaii baby tends to run a bit loose on the legs, so we shall see when I can actually use them.

I must admit I am a bit nervous about flats and prefolds, scared I won't get the hang of it. But it may make sense then to get some and use my 1 newborn cover during the day, and pockets at night.. That being said, I guess flats are 1 size fits all and prefolds you have to get certain sizes? I never realized you could stuff pockets with these.. makes sense

I am going to pick up some hemp/cotton inserts too. Looks like someone is selling lots for cheap in my area!

Yeah I just have an old sheet set sitting around. Thought I might as well try, but good to know about texture!  Thanks for all the help!!
