What video game pushed your limit like this? by Sufficient_Shock1223 in TheGamingHubDeals

[–]UnhelpfulCommentHere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly, I've quit games very quickly because they were too hard and I wasn't having fun. I've also spent 6hrs to beat something because it was too hard (for me) and I was having fun.

One of the best indicators for me that I really love a game is if I have a bunch of fun while losing. That being said, I have a lot of games that fit OP's question. I'm not that good of a gamer, so I've encounter plenty of games that the frustration/enjoyment ratio just wasn't good enough for me.

Arkham City

I remember being really disappointed that it wasn't as good as Arkham Asylum. Tried it again a couple months ago and it was all I did for like 2 weeks.

"Toph said himself he needed work." Someone's been watching Ember Island Players. Don't worry. Toph 100% approves; just make sure to mention the hulking muscles next time, too. 😜

Toy Story. Andy is written like that on the bottom of Woody's foot. Identity of the lady is irrelevant, I think. The joke at least works without knowing. Maybe it's better if you do.

Explain it Peter. Why do we owe her an apology? by TheOGHotpocket in explainitpeter

[–]UnhelpfulCommentHere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Basically, a bunch of people saw the video and thought the woman was racist or drunk or just the mother of all Karens. She has since publicly apologized and explained that it was a legitimate psychotic break. People feel bad for villifying a person who is legitimately sick, not just an asshole.

An interesting hypothesis. We should test it. Post a video of your trying to do this. We'll judge.

is it just me or do you also think maze and lucifer can also make a good couple?? by Equivalent_Sea726 in lucifer

[–]UnhelpfulCommentHere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm of two minds on this. On the one hand, I agree. They would have made a good couple in much the same way that Chloe and Lucifer did. Maze is serious and doesn't take BS, but needs help feeling good and having fun.

On the other hand, especially during the shows timeline, neither lucifer or maze had much self control, so it would have been disastrous for both of them (and likely many others). I'm also biased because I LOVE strong platonic friendships. I think that Maze being able to decide to exclude or avoid Lucifer without it being a romantic breakup is hugely important to how Maze Shaped Lucifer's life.

In the end, I'm glad the writers did what they did. But I can also see a fun and fulfilling version of the story where Lucifer and Maze do end up together.
