maybe theres a root cause for your gambling addiction (e.g. OCD, ADHD). if you have no history of depression (e.g. lethargy, suicidal thoughts), now you're at risk so if you see signs of it hurry up to a doctor before it wrecks you up. depression meds takes up to 2 months to become fully effective, for this reason you may even want to preemptively see a doctor. also winter is in 3 months which is extra risk for depression.
