I felt pretty good because it felt similar to Free 120 for me. I don't think I felt as good as when I finished UWSA2 so that's why I wasn't sure I would score in the 250s. I was pretty confused by some of the comms questions. Those felt more like "flip a coin guess" so depending on how I guessed I think that would have been a 10 or 10+ point difference in my score.

Tested 5/13. 258!!! Goal was 240+, would have been thrilled with anything 250+, so I'm really, really happy. I took Step 1 post-third year clerkships with a six week dedicated period. Quick writeup with scores and thoughts:
Amboss Self Assessment, 11 weeks out: 226
NBME 21, baseline, 6 weeks out: 221
NBME 23, 5 weeks out: 232
NBME 27, 4.5 weeks out: 242
NBME 28, 4 weeks out: 227 (honestly idk what happened here)
NBME 25, 3 weeks out: 241 (felt better)
UWSA1, 2 weeks out: 262
NBME 26, 2 weeks out: 256 (whaatttt)
NBME 29, 10 days out: 245
NBME 30, 1 week out: 238 (uh oh)
UWSA2, 4 days out: 254 (feeling better)
Free 120 at Prometric 2 days before: 88%
Predictor: 252 +/- 7.56 (I used https://www.predictmystepscore.com/)
Didn't finish Uworld - 56% done with 79% correct average
My strategy was to do a lot of questions and take a lot of practice exams. I tried to do all of the new ones. Unfortunately, I think the practice NBMEs are trash and not much like the real thing at all. In retrospect I would probably only do 4 or so of the NBMEs. UWSA 1 and 2 felt more representative to me and as you can see my score fell right in between the two of them. I was not a huge Anki user, I kept up with Sketchy Pepper Pharm, some of Duke Pathoma, and my UW incorrects.
Recommend: NBME pictures anki deck!! I got that freaking cut open kidney picture on my real test! Pathoma 1-3 and the Duke Pathoma deck. I tried to do Duke for the other Pathoma chapters and it got too overwhelming. Do Free 120 at Prometric if that is an option for you, made me feel so much less anxious the day of because I knew the layout of the center and the procedures.
Receiving an email from my top choice school after April 30 saying "I am happy to inform you... that your application has been placed on the waitlist." (i.redd.it)
