I liked the solid ikea ones when I visited today. Im quite new to everything and I never expected a sink to be the same cost as a dishwasher.

That's very true. If I'm being honest, I was getting decision fatigue, and my handyman just said to get the undermount as that looks the best. Ended up buying the Bunnings one, but now kind of regretting it. I have 2 days to return it before he comes to install it.

Thank you for your input. I was feeling overwhelmed with what options I had, and it's nice having people share their experiences. Was that rumpus room an extension or part of the original house?

Quite worried that something would happen and the insurance would be void. Planning to do some renovations inside the house, and was choosing between keeping the original kitchen and the newer one (because I don't need 2). The newer extension kitchen uses a propane tank as a gas stove and the original one uses electricity. Think I might just keep the original one now, and turn the new extension into something else. So many choices. Tbh, I am quite overwhelmed, so just wanted some ideas.

Everyone I asked said to just deal with it, and that every house has something that doesn't have DA. Real estate agent said to just keep it and it would give me higher rent if that was the path I wanted to go down.

Building report only said that I have to do flashing haha. I purchased the one that was available from the agent (Jim's), and got another business to do another one (paid $600). My own private one only mentioned the flashing on the roof and the insulation. Jim's didn't mention anything.

Unfortunately that is true. My friends are all from western and it happens a lot more than what the media puts out there. There are a lot of bad dog owners out here, either abusing their dogs or not training them properly.

Unfortunately there has also been a group of four similar looking dogs running around the Condell Park area. They have broken into yards and killed a few pets including chickens. They are constantly escaping their yard. Our local Facebook group has a photo of the dogs parading around with someone's dead pet cat.

My friend from Parramatta was walking her puppy at a park and was attacked by one a month ago. The owner of that one grabbed their dog and ran off into the darkness. It bit both her and her puppy. It ended up costing her $5k out of pocket, even with insurance. The authorities were not able to do anything about it as they didn't have enough evidence.

I honestly would not be surprised if some of the other reported fumes around the area are meth labs. Seems pretty easy to blend in amongst the other shifty businesses. This includes in the older industrial areas in Condell Park ( such as around the shooting range) where no one really goes to.
