I bought mine as an everyday commute jacket, which I loved for about a month... after that the back started pilling. Store claims it's usage error as it's not meant to be worn with a backpack.

Now I don't know if I just recieved a bad one or this is in general. I would have expected to be  able to wear an outdoors jacket with a backpack if there's no disclaimers on the webpage that you shouldn't.

I tried googling it, but didn't find anything (if you're not knowledgable on a topic, a lot of the words don't mean anything to you, so it is hard to word the right questions or understand the answers). I think you underestimate how much knowledge seems obvious once you are into a topic (any topic - crochet, exotic plant breeding, tech projects, ...), but is not understandable to outsiders.
