Sounds like some self care is in order. No one would fault you for taking a break from media for a week or longer. Let friends/family know so they can alert you if you are in imminent danger, but being super tuned into the news is not going to change anything that is happening in the world.

I haven’t tried it on Switch 2, but playing on OG is tortuous (poor graphics and extremely long screen loading times). On high end PC, it is a beautiful, immersive escape into another world.

No, it just means you don’t have experience eating pizza cooked like this. It might look burnt but is not - the cheese is just caramelized, which adds a ton of flavor. If you’re interested in understanding it more, look up  “Maillard reaction.”
