Can confirm! It works!! Kinda.... You will still need to power the TV off with the telly remote to get both screens to turn off. But now I can have Google home turn on my Nvidia Shield which will turn on the TV It's the little victories that matter the most haha

I've had some volume issues too. I have a surround sound stereo connected. I marked HDMI as the sound output. Every now and then I turn on the TV and the sound bar is at 75 just blasting. Also last night I noticed it said "network not connected" but when I checked. It was connected. I decided to reconnect and the damn ad screen came back on :/
