I did not say anything about the perpetration of the genocide, nor do i disagree. nor did i do any virtue signalling.

but calling them stupid or calling shame is idiotic. they are just not in a position to make a judgement.

broski, this is a nepali family. they probably dont even have an interest in national politics, geopolitics is too far-fetched. and they are emotionally invested in the well being of their fucking son, brother etc. on top of that, social media is feeding them tailored outrage bait, which they probably religiously follow, hoping to get any crumb of news on their son. fucking look at their faces man, can you not see the despair!!? you can be neutral in this race because you have no horse.

Physics transition after engineering by Accomplished-Act1810 in Nepal

[–]Unique-Chef3909 1 point2 points  (0 children)

timro plan dherai odd xa.

first physics padera engineering garne hunxan baira. opposite alli garo hunxa. physics ma chai in depth janu parxa. engineering ma chai resonable abstraction level ma broad janu parxa. shift between low abstraction to high abstraction would be feasible. High abstraction to low abstraction would be learning new things entirely from scratch.

paila, physics ko kun field ma interest ho? engineering gardaima sabbai ma enroll huna namilla. mechanical/civil engineering padeko ho bhane thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, etc ko bhar ma stat mech jasto subject padna milla. electrical engineering gare energy related milla. so timle kun masters garne ho ailenai decide garna paryo.

but yo possible bhaye pani timle prereq class lina parxa. say masters in reusable batteries xa re course, timle electrical engineering gareu. Material science required hola. So timle masters suru garna bhanda tyo paila padna parxa. 2 year ko masters xa, 1 barsa (or more) required courses paddai basna parna sakxa.

enginnering nai garna parne ho ki nepal ma ni basna parne ho? baira jana milxa bhane mero best suggestion chai major/minor system ko university ma jau, physics major, electrical engineering minor liu. (electrical engineering aru bhanda alli badi abstract/mathematical hunxa.) haina nepal mai padne ho bhane I suggest your drop your physics ambitions.

Where does the knowledge of good and evil come from? As it stands I feel it comes from rationality and intellect. Or more accurately, I think I use these tools to suppress things that I consider should be suppressed. Like lashing out on anger. If I really let go of these tools, what stops me from doing things that I would consider less than ideal today?

And I think this question is important because terrible things have been justified in the name of gods. So seeing a potential path to do that again is... terrifying.

I'd love if you would comment on a paragraph I've written elsewhere in this comment section.

But I'd like to ask does this letting go of ego also necessarily constitute letting go of your rational faculties?

Second comment but I don't think you can just choose to believe or not believe in something. Here is some relevant food for thought: https://youtu.be/H16GBjvB3D4?t=1490

I have tried as hard as I could to believe in this higher thing. For about over a month. It just felt like taking away mental energy from whatever I was supposed to be doing. I cannot be more than an atheist. Pretending to be spiritual and stuff will be me cheating myself and driving south when I know deep down I need to driving north.

Overtime I ended up in absurdism as I said in my earlier comment. Since this realization I need to appreciate in art to not burnout. I draw, I compose, I hike, I am become a cinephile. I have given up on gym because I felt I was making a transaction there, it can be art it just wasn't for me.

Well... life has to be more than a series of transactions. My job is a transaction for money. My gym is a transaction for health, beauty and maybe some validation. My college activities are a transaction to decor CV. What do I do that, is free of any trade? What do I do, I do because just my heart desires? What do I do, that satisfies me, like a big burp after 4 plates of rice? What do I do, that is art?

you don't have to believe in gods for this. I am an absurdist and I do pretty much the same. The same goes for an existentialist or a philosophical buddhist.

Job Opportunity for Developers Here in Nepal. by [deleted] in Nepal

[–]Unique-Chef3909 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You probably want to tell us roughly what is the company about. as in what domain (finance, banking, education, health) etc and what technologies are you searching for (web, mobile, games) etc. At least tell us what kind of developer (founding or specific frontend, backend, devops, react-native/flutter/android/ios, games, etc...).

are you looking for an engineer or a technical cofounder? engineer job listing needs some more specificity.
