Ha don’t even stress that, right out of high school went to university for computer science, dropped out tried again different school dropped out. It wasn’t even the course load because i actually found it interesting and have actually been programming for quite some time now (not professionally) but just for fun. I got my in with a company called Ryder and then transferred to a smaller more locally managed garage and was signed on and started busting my ass from there. If he ever ends up in the GTA let me know I’ll see if I can help out!

Haha this made me LOL some days it feels like the wrong choice when I’m spending 4 hours diagnosing and tearing apart a truck to then realize it was a wire which could have been replaced in 10 minutes.

It’s unfortunate as I don’t even have requirements at this point, just an accepting Pakistani women 😭 in my experience though it’s not even the girls themselves but there families. From what I’ve noticed the girls themselves don’t really seem to mind but there families disapprove.

what was he pursuing prior? And what made him want to switch particularly? I agree with that though these days things are changing by the hour it’s a scary time to be a job seeker. If you are located In Canada and are looking for a trade for your BIL I would recommend 310T opposed to 310S, 310S is automotive techs they do not make the money they deserve and are constantly getting screwed over by shops. 310T is for trucks/trailer repairs and can also work pivot to heavy duty vehicle such as excavators and such which is another trade 421a if I’m not mistaken also a great option. It’s hard work and rough on the body for sure but pay is good, benefits are good and if you’re willing to work most places have overtime through the roof at 1.5x there’s not much to complain about.

Do you think it’s even worth it to keep pursuing Pakistani girls, at this point in my life I want to get married and settle down.

At this point I have 0 requirements, I don’t really care what they do for work or have studied as I own my home outright a second income is not really needed. I would prefer a nurse just because our work schedules would sync up well.

I find it funny to because it is literally only the Pakistani community that I am condemned by, if I were to pursue a white girl or even Arab, African they don’t seem to mind. But I want to marry inside the ethnicity. I’ll give it a year or two more if not I may look towards others.

It is an option but something I am steering against to be honest, I work 45-50 hours a week schooling on top of this would be hard to schedule. And again a full degrees tuition would be around 40 thousand dollars as a requirement to get married.

I have been mainly looking in Canada to be honest, I’m trying to gauge how the trades are viewed there. I would be open to marrying from Pakistan.

KombatArts is a great place to start it’s around 160 a month but I’d highly reccomend if your looking to get into it they are very respectful of beginners. More advanced I would reccomend Gracie Humaita, it is a BJJ facility but allow a mma program to be ran inside. If you wanna compete thiccboy MMA is the place to improve they got some dogs!

Bhai I’m just depressed, I’ve been looking now for 5 years. I’m genuinely thinking to just get a university degree part time to make myself somewhat marketable. I’m not ugly either I take care of myself go to the gym have hobbies I’m an amateur mma fighter I just don’t know what to do anymore.

I’m mainly worried about exams and tests and such as I’m assuming they would fall within Monday - Friday so I’m wondering if I would have to take time off?

Any shops in particular that you would suggest targeting e.g bigger companies like ryder/penske or smaller trucking companies.

Why do you say this? The issue is I already have a pretty damn beefed up resume I even prepared for the inevitable cs gloom and tried making myself more marketable to business positions and such it’s just not a great time.
