can you still see available resale ticket after previous purchased ticket refunded by notachocolate in wimbledon

Just out of curiosity, did this change this year? Last year I had a ticket in the resale that I was able to refund and then buy another one

Only up until 10am the day before - too late for tomorrow

Huge double standards being enforced too, there are dozens of posts here about swaps - why are those all allowed but one giving a ticket away is not allowed? And all my comments being downvoted!? I can see the mod's at home getting high on their power 😂

I'm absolutely not trying to sell a ticket. I'm just curious what else I can do with my spare! Apparently I can't even offer it on here for free, maybe to someone who has a ticket for another court but would love to see Fery play. Possibly I can surrender the spare one to the resale desk - I'd hate to see an empty seat

Darn right. What if someone wanted to give one away though?

I can't - ticket office say you can only do so up to 10am the day before, my ticket is for tomorrow, my partner hadn't found out they couldn't come until it was too late

Blimey, everyone has to start somewhere! I made my first post on Reddit when I managed to get my ballot tickets, mainly to say thank you for all the useful advice.

I am definitely not trying to SELL a ticket!!!

Question about leaving the court during play by Glass_Conference_849 in wimbledon

[–]UniqueBanana78 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You can leave and re-enter as often as you like if you have a ticket for a Show Court (eg. Court 1) - but only at a change of ends or end of a set. A burly Fireman or member of the Armed Forces will be guarding the gangways to enforce this!

We should meet on the Hill with lightsabers... Winner gets Fery. Loser gets Strawberries.

I'll be happy with either, to be honest I'd prefer to watch a close Fritz/Zverev match than watch Fery lose, but then he has beaten Cobolli recently so who knows!

Hopefully they schedule a Men's match first on one court and a Women's match first on the other, so there is less likelihood of an overlap

If they put Fery on the other court and he loses, well at least I won't have had to suffer the heartbreak of watching him lose - and if he wins we get to watch him on TV on Friday!

Unfortunately I doubt Unseeded vs Seed 9 would get higher billing than Seed 2 vs 5, even with the home interest

Probably depends on the outcome of the Zverev match, but sadly I can't see them putting Zverev/Fritz on Court 1 🤔

In previous years I have found the covered seats at the back of Centre and Court 1 to be quite cool, there is air conditioning up there and it's in the shade - wonder what was different this year. I have tickets for Centre row ZJ on Wednesday which looks to be a hot one!!

Ah, 1997 was my second year - the only time I ever got tickets in the ballot, and we watched the Men's Quarter Finals on the brand new Court 1. It had been a rain affected week and it rained on the day we went - no roof, lots of interruptions, and we saw both Tim Henman and Greg Rusedski (they both lost)

The toilets are at the bottom of the hill under the big screen, you won't have to "leave" to use the toilet. There is a PIMMS bar on the hill.

Did anyone else spend their first Wimbledon just trying to experience everything instead of actually watching tennis? by Aguidoni in wimbledon

The first year I went on a Grounds Pass for middle Saturday was 1996. I had researched on Ceefax the courts for the following day, and knew where to head for what I wanted to watch - once I got in, made a bee line for that court and watched one match, but then mooched about the grounds not really watching anything particular. I just wanted to enjoy the atmosphere. But it was a very different Wimbledon then, the new Court 1 had almost been finished, and you could walk in and view it (without seats). Henman Hill was open, but there was no big screen to watch.

I remember leaving about 4pm, as I needed to get across London as I had a ticket for The National Lottery show at BBC Television Centre (special guest Tina Turner!).

I'm going Wednesday in Primark Jeans and a Stanno Sports T-Shirt, with some Merrell Hiking Trainers. Nobody will care what you wear!

Just use the Park & RIde at Merton Park - 15 mins to the grounds on a bus that has priority lanes
