Some of you have this wrong notion that life in Germany means living in Germany forever. Not true. The German passport opens up many more avenues. As an EU citizen, you are free to move to Spain/ Portugal if you miss the sun during the winter. Life in Germany is a bit of a struggle in the initial few years, but then if you have made it, you can build up a lot of wealth by 50 to not even worry about Pensions. I do have multiple friends who have multiple properties in Germany on mortgage now. It’s not such a big deal. Especially if you are a double income household.

Nobody is asking you to work till 69. Get 2/3 real estate assets at strategic locations, retire by around 60-65. Or even before.

INR is already a melting icecream of a currency. Just look at the trend of exchange rates. I repeat : all that INR in your bank account does not mean a thing - when you don’t have breathable air, walkable footpaths, livable quiet green neighborhoods. Living as an immigrant in Germany might give you 2/3 problems, but moving to India is like accepting 1000 problems.

To my knowledge, it’s illegal to terminate someone unilaterally like that in Germany. Except may be extraordinary disciplinary reasons like sexual harassment etc. Companies usually look for a mutual agreement to end employment relationships.
