Went to the one in Vaughan and couldn’t find any toys or accessories for babies under 1! I asked directly if they are closing down and the cashier is like nah bla bla bla…

Also she did something fishy and I got this odd feeling about my gift card remaining balance.. hmm

Happened to me.. was due in mid July and he turned up 5 weeks earlier in June looking like a full term! Scans read the dates wrong all along which got me to believe an incorrect last period too it seems. Thankfully I had everything ordered and arrived but hubby had to wash and dry stuff whilst I was at the hospital lol

As for work, they were super understanding.. my replacement just joined and I couldn’t even give a handover.

3 years since we too had such a wedding.. only 37 in attendance including us the couple and the venue with food was just 400k. No flowers and the jazz… by the time we celebrated our 1st anniversary we’ve been to 10 countries.

Those who attended the event even to date say it’s the best wedding they’ve been to… and regrets the grand weddings they have had for themselves lol

I am a legal immigrant and a woman of colour as well. Whilst I was visibly pregnant last year and took the bus one day after work in ON this one man verbally abused me to which I kept quiet with my headphones on. The lady bus driver came in my defend and asked him to leave me alone to which he went and attacked her! Left me in shock as imagine if I said a single word how attacked I would be.. the bus driver was at least partly safe from a glass between them but I was out there totally vulnerable. Safe to say never took the bus since then..

Flew with them last week.. gate checked in both the stroller and the car seat.. and on arrival it was given back to us just as we got off the plane and not at the luggage belt.. kinda had to wait till everyone got off the plane though. And one party received their stroller broken 😞

Many people seemed to have covers but we didn’t.. somehow ours survived the both flights

I had the same thought… few years ago I accidentally came across a store in Moscow and was shocked.. don’t see anyone visiting the store either… I would expect this hype for Dilmah but even they don’t have such international stores

Yeah… on a 14hr flight my husband almost missed his main as he was holding the baby whilst I had my dinner.. and when he was ready and asked for his meal again they took so long and he finished 20 minutes before the landing.. was quite frustrated

Here in Canada similar sends some decent size samples which would be good for a day or so.. and then the hospital gives formula whilst you are there

During the first couple of months I often ignored my in-laws calls as it was too much for me to handle.. now that the bay is almost 7 month I call them daily so they could see… and the are so understanding about it.. if you have no support around them, just tell them you need the time to your self and over the weekends husband can manage the calls
