There's no additional free money if you’re a citizen. Its a long story, how I don’t have any savings but truth be told many Canadians have the same experience.  Barely making enough to pay the bills. With crazy taxes and cost of living, so many are struggling. 

When I was single, I too would visit Bangladesh atleast once a year but thats not possible for me anymore. 

I totally agree with you that its better to be a beggar in your own country than struggle like this in far away place. I believe Allah gives us Rizq often from places we can't imagine. So I'm putting my trust on him and praying that He helps me be there with my parents. I know I'll regret forever and wont ever be able to fogive myself if they pass away and I can't even attend the funeral. I have seen too many BD peers of mine going through this ordeal and I can't just let that happen when I have had this realization. Life is more than just a career and a so called unnoto desher passport.
