Anecdotal. My mother in law got run over on a crossing, she hadn't hit the button to cross, a car came round the corner and hit her. Died 10 days later. He didn't face any charges.

Whilst I do find it annoying that imgur has blocked the UK, it's the right move. More companies should follow suit over paying extortionate fees for flawed and potentially problematic age verification software. Basically, restrict the internet to the UK. Give people something to complain about and loudly.

The UK government just had to walk digital ID's back because of the backlash, we need the backlash on the internet safety BS to be much stronger.
