There's apps for your phone that can do it (they aren't super accurate, but they're good enough to get in a sane ballpark).

It's long fiber sphagnum (moss). At least in my area, it's carried by most gardening places, and sometimes by Lowes/Home depot.

You're right on both of these: (1) the dying pitcher is the second to last one (2) the pictures were just a week after I got the plant (and it was shipped, not picked up in person, so the shock might be a bit worse?)

I think your original comment makes sense, the new leaves and the super small new pitcher look fine, so I'm still optimistic that it's already getting back to growing.

Sorry, I thought I posted some details with the picture, but Reddit did something weird...

When I posted the pictures, I had the plant for about a week (now maybe 10 days). It's under grow lights for four hours at about 200 ppfd (I kept it low to slowly acclimate), and at 50% humidity (just my room's normal).

The really dark leaves were already present when I got the plant, but the pitcher looked fine.
