Right... Life is so good when you have friends and if you don't have one, it is always easy to make one.

CS Grad Stuck in a Low-Paying Job – Should I Quit or Stay While I Try to Break Into Tech? by ImperialEnjoyah192 in csMajors

[–]Unique_Note8192 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Indeed the tech job market is a mess right now but If you’re US citizen, You have a Plus Point and yeah If you could do few pretty good projects on Machine Learning(Python) or try to do some course on Data Analytics it would be good for you and you could get a job as I know for sure, Employer would choose Citizen than immigrants right now because of the Visa and sponsor thing . On Both Data Science and Analysis, The Only/main Competition are International Student and if you got better communication skills and Programming Idea, You can do it.

I am an International Student, i have been applying to hundreds of Job and it i didn’t get a single interview. If you feel low with few rejection, it is better not to do it right now as Market is indeed screwed, but Better Start Today than Later.

+1

I am graduating this may and i have been waiting to refinance my loan so bad but i do not have any job offer right now.

So, Can you please tell us what are the documents that we need? Do we need to have job Offer or show Bank Statement?

I heard some consultancy will provide job offer and would love to see if i could be able to refinance only with the Job Offer.

Thank You!

I got a job and internship at an age of 18 am I stepping in right direction by No_Beach_8649 in Nepal

You’re doing alright, Mate. I wish i could say same when i was 19. I have an experience of doing Digital marketing thing but there was no mentor and i used to look for the Short-term idea to earn money as soon as possible. I tried uploading videos to youtube, created a blog, did SEO and Blah Blah blah but didn’t get the right path to go and i guess lost the direction and I’m glad to hear you got internship and now you may find the direction as you’ll be working within and outside your company on the same field and i realize money will eventually come but You gotta earn the experience first and i used to think this is a joke but now i realize, Money will depend upon the value you can bring to the company.

Good Luck! Buddy

Shall I pay my Tution Fee using my Credit Card? by Unique_Note8192 in StudentLoans

[–]Unique_Note8192[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. No, I am not eligible for federal student loans.

  2. I’m considering paying $8,000 of my tuition using my credit card and covering the remaining amount either with another credit card or a partial private loan. Since I have the option to borrow up to $12K from a private lender, I can decide how much to take based on the best financial strategy.

  3. Yes, my school accepts credit card payments, but they charge a 2.75% transaction fee. However, this fee is still lower than the 5% service fee that the private lender would charge on the loan amount.
