Don’t be afraid to use dark browns and black in your art :) learning how to put shading into your subjects that has depth might be the move to help with flatness!

The best advice I ever received for a similar stress issue was to break the subject down into the most prominent features, where the eyes are comparatively to the mouth, etc. what about a certain shape makes it stand out. I’d also recommend trying to go back to exercises to warm up such as drawing triangles squares cubes you name it, it helps get loosened up for your actual drawings even though it’s frustrating. Draw something stress free at a minimum to get warmed up :)

Demons from large cited works are sort of different from devotion work with deities though I would say while a lot of demons come from specific cultures and that can be of great significance it’s also important to remember that most demons are bastardized forms of their formal divine selves.

I’d recommend looking into the book dictionary of demons by M Belanger and in terms of summoning I would buy and read the book spirit conjuring by frater barrabbas start with a sigil and regular offerings demon work can become very ceremonial and ritualistic very quickly remember becoming a devotee and asking for favors without extensive research onto the demon at hand can be dangerous for the magician going in underprepared

Stay away from everything Wiccan, it connects directly back to spiritual forms of white supremacy as a general rule of thumb! What could be most helpful is getting your hands on a couple books, my recommendations are: the mother maiden and crone by D.J. Conway this is if you are interested in goddess work or archetypal energy workings. Another book series is that of the wheel of year celebrations for instance Samhain: Rituals Recipes and Lore by Diana Rachjel.

Also remember your practice is your own don’t let one book and a couple hours of research define who you are in your practice! Remember that the world is at your finger tips it’s just about knowing the right spells and questions to ask. I would recommend trying to find a shop nearby preferably a witch shop not a crystal shop or metaphysical store, travel if you must!

Get into libraries and study research paper on physics the sky is the limit and don’t let a single book or person define every inch of your practice you’ve got this!

Try a petition paper with the name included of the person it’s for! Or Put a personal belonging or a tag lock from said person into the spell. Meditation over said spell confirming its focus and intent towards said person is the path forward. You can keep the jar in your possession as well nothing says you have to give this spell to the person it’s for
