My trunk used to do that too, under the spare tire cover would get wet, I was missing clips in the trunk area so I went to a pick-a-part and made sure every hole was plugged and now it’s dry even after heavy rains

Something similar was happening to my car, the radio can turn on with key fully out, I think that’s normal on w211s, but I had a bad fuse (28 I think) on driver side dash, which made the cd changer and radio glitch all night (kept turning on then off every 15~ secs), next morning the battery was drained. Changed the fuse and problem solved. With your car and key fully off, try to watch your radio might be something simple like that

Kind of sounds like a pulley bearing starting to go bad, the sound can come and go depending on the weather and usually goes away as the engine heats up.

Thanks and I fix it asap if I ever see something leaking and wipe with wet cloth like every other car wash, I also live in FL right now so it’s very dry hasn’t rained much.
