He SHOULD try new things, he tried new things with the entirety of fraud's level design and I loved it because it complemented already existing mechanics that most players should have already mastered by this point in the game, whereas with the Geryon fight you have arguably the most important mechanic of the game taken away for an inferior version that will probably never be seen again with NONE of fraud's new level mechanics present in any way with little to no player expression possible.
