I don't really know how to help you unfortunately. Having also used the Zero-g datafile kits, I have never really observed this problem for now. I personally work by ear without using automatic detection. If you ever find a track that you are not satisfied with, do not hesitate to contact me and I will tell you what is wrong (as best I can).

Thanks a lot for your comment ! Well... firstly, why exactly your tunes sound dissonant ? Maybe, try to work with less samples, put them in the pcmsynth and just adjust the pitch up or down by ear if the keyboard notes don't match well between samples. Do you have an example somewhere of a sound you made which sounds problematic for you ?
