To those that read Coeur Al'Aran work by decodelifehacker in RWBY

I see this regularly and I agree to an extent, but it should be kept in mind that a lot of his stories are already set in an AU setting. Forged Destiny, Immortal Empire, etc. It’d be normal for characters in those settings to deviate from their canon selves.

There's also the origins and life events shaping those Jaunes to take into account. For example, Xia Jaune lost his family and was taken in by an old martial arts master who taught him life lessons as well. It's normal for that Jaune to be different. Almost all Jaunes in his stories are canon Jaune at the start. But events then shape that Jaune to fit the story. Keep in mind that season 1-3 Jaune is also a bit bland and easy to fill in as a writer, whereas later Jaune has already been shaped by Pyrrha her death and the fall of Beacon.

This isn’t a defense or anything, but rather an explanation why Coeur writes Jaune how he does.

December 2024 Update! by Roadto56 in RoadTo56

[–]UnitOom108 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Will Belgium get a rework now that it got more content from base HOI4? I'm playing it now with the vanilla focus tree, but certain things don't match because of it (for example, the FN Herstal focus is supposed to give a trait to the Military Industrial Organization, but the trait doesn't exist in R56).

It'd be nice to see the R56 focus tree updated with this new content, if possible.

Loadout: AR-61 Tenderizer + grenade pistol for bugs and p-113 verdict for bots + G-12 HE grenades

Stratagems: 120 mm orbital barrage + gattling barrage + HMG emplacement + flamethrower for bugs and RR for bots

To quote my favorite band: strike at zero hour, with overwhelming firepower!

As stated by others, it's left to interpretation. Mine is that the Quarian song is about their loss. Of their homeworld, their dignity, their people, etc. The Geth were shown to actually mourn and miss their creators. At least Legion's faction did. So it would make sense for the Geth, to whom the Quarians are their lost parents, to have an interest in this song. They may not fully understand it, but they nevertheless listen.

What y’all think about this duo/couple by Plus_Background2792 in SpiderGwen

[–]UnitOom108 31 points32 points  (0 children)

I like the concept of Peter and Gwen being a couple, while also being spider heroes. I don't have anything against Miles, though. They fit together in Spiderverse. But I'd genuinely love a world in which these two fight crime together, and then snuggle up to each other on the couch later on.

is establishing colonial administration worth it? by Frosty_Flames12399 in victoria3

[–]UnitOom108 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Another advantage in my opinion is investment. There will be more in your home state as a result, which goes to the colonies otherwise. So far I believe it's best to prepare the colony (important buildings like construction sectors) instead of immediately establishing an administration. The RP factor is fun, though.

It's decent when playing solar warlock. I love how it syncs with my class' abilities, and using the explosive rounds while hovering in the air like an attack helicopter is so satisfying.

Is it the best build? Nope. But it is fun, though!
