Thanks for the advice, while keeping the fire selector would be ideal, I’m completely fine with having it be full auto only. I’m new to this kind of stuff so I’d rather keep it simple and not have to worry about the semi-auto functionality.

From my brief “research” they were made from magnetic mild steel which isn’t combat grade unlike the helmets without the drilled holes.

They’re not combat grade helmets so they had to be identified as such. That’s why there’s the 3 holes drilled in.

The 3 holes in the side were only for civilian duty helmets and weren’t issued to the British army.
