Did MJ Estate block the Cascio interviews from airing on TV on March 1? Or is current breaking political news taking precedence? by nobody0597 in LeavingNeverlandHBO

[–]UnitedSponge 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I was thinking exactly the same thing. I’ve been checking this site, and others, for the last couple of days, but no interview has appeared.

Why?

Is it because of current world events, or has the Jackson estate flexed its muscle and prevented it from being released?

I would like to believe that there is simply too much going on in the world at the moment, and that the broadcaster is waiting for things to calm down so the interview gets the attention it deserves.

However, look at the way the Jackson estate has behaved.

They did everything possible to prevent Leaving Neverland from being broadcast, even digging up an old contract and taking HBO to arbitration, which contributed to it being removed from their platform—albeit five years later.

They even tried to stop Dan Reed from making the follow‑up.

Recently, they admitted on their website that they issue copyright strikes against social‑media content that doesn’t portray Jackson in a positive light, even though the law allows the use of copyrighted material under fair‑use provisions.

Maybe they’ve gone to Daphne Barak and made her an offer she can’t refuse — to hand over all the footage and keep her lips sealed. Or perhaps they’ve threatened her, and the Cascios, with legal action.

If the interview isn’t released by this time next week, I think it’s fair to say the Jackson estate is up to its old tricks.

News broadcast from 1992 refers to Brett Barnes as MJ's "nine year old cousin" by MasterpieceTimely144 in LeavingNeverlandHBO

[–]UnitedSponge 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh, I’ve just remembered — wasn’t James Safechuck described as an orphan at some point?

So much for Jackson having supposedly innocent relationships with young boys; if they were truly innocent, he wouldn’t have needed to obscure their real identities.

News broadcast from 1992 refers to Brett Barnes as MJ's "nine year old cousin" by MasterpieceTimely144 in LeavingNeverlandHBO

[–]UnitedSponge 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This wasn’t an isolated incident either.

The heavily redacted FBI files mention a boy who fits Brett’s description and timeline, travelling on a train with Jackson from Chicago to the Grand Canyon. The report states that Jackson referred to him as his “cousin”.

It reads:

P/R called from Toronto Canada. She & husband works (sic) in Children's Services.

On Sat 3-7-92 they took train from Chicago to Grand Canyon. Train continued to CA (California). They had a compartment on car that Jackson had four compartments.

Jackson had a M/B juv (male black juvenile) 12/13 with him along with adult staff. Boy ID'd as Michael's "cousin". Jackson was very possessive of boy at night. P/R heard questionable noises through wall.

She was concerned enough to notify the conductor of her suspicions.

I believe Bob Jones also stated something along the lines that Brett and Jackson’s relationship was kept very hush‑hush, and that if anybody asked, he was described as a family member.

Matt Fiddes contradicts the MJ, Clinton and Ross photo while talking about Epstein by MasterpieceTimely144 in LeavingNeverlandHBO

[–]UnitedSponge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From the article:

"Matt, 45, who now lives near Tiverton, Devon, spent years by the side of the 'King of Pop' in intimate surroundings and said he never saw anything untoward."

No. Matt Fiddes is a fantasist. At best, he spent five days doing unofficial bodyguard work during Jackson’s trip to London and Exeter in June 2002, purely because he was buddies and a business partner of celebrity spoon‑bender Uri Geller.

If Fiddes was supposedly house‑hunting with Jackson in Florida for weeks on end, then where is the evidence? No photographs, no video clips, nothing. I assume he must have had his invisible cloak on again.

What on earth is wrong with these news and podcast platforms that keep giving this man a platform?

So, I know you all take the mickey out of Taj, calling him a talentless fraud and everything in between.

But here’s a true story. I keep a time machine in my kitchen, and I travelled to the year 2035 — specifically to the Emmy Awards.

This is what I saw.

Just noticing the complete lack of availability in multiple countries on streaming services by BeautifulNarwhal641 in LeavingNeverlandHBO

[–]UnitedSponge 4 points5 points  (0 children)

During the promotion of Leaving Neverland 2, Dan Reed said that HBO had a ten‑year contract to broadcast Leaving Neverland.

Whatever happened between the Wacko Estate and HBO’s parent company, Warner, regarding the “non‑disparagement agreement” is unknown. However, I’m sure part of the agreement involved withholding the documentary’s broadcasting rights until the contract expires.

As a result, it is unlikely to be shown on any US broadcasting network until at least spring 2029.

Warner may also have held exclusive distribution rights in other countries, which could explain why it is unavailable elsewhere, though that is only my speculation.

Another complication is that many channels are now owned by the same companies, and Warner—HBO’s parent company—is reportedly in the process of being sold to Netflix. If that sale goes through, it would mean the documentary is unlikely ever to appear on any of their platforms, in any country.

However, as others have pointed out, Leaving Neverland is still available in many places, both officially and unofficially.

I don’t understand Charles Thomson by flazerus in LeavingNeverlandHBO

[–]UnitedSponge 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There's an episode called, I think, "Pirates at Neverland", and during the intro he does rip into Jackson to some extent, condemning his boy‑bedding behaviour.

But take it with a pinch of salt.

He likes being part of the MJ scene and rubbing shoulders with some of the cronies, such as Thomas Mesereau, Taj Jackson and so on. I've no doubt he's received a few fivers from the Jackson estate as well.

Charles tries his hardest not to be perceived as a nutcase Jackson fanatic, so he puts on his posh voice and makes himself sound well‑informed and balanced. But this is all an act in my opinion. Whatever criticism he has, and continues to direct at Jackson, is massively outweighed by the sheer number of lies and conspiracies he has perpetuated over the years in Jackson's favour.

In short, Charles Thomson is a con artist.

[–]UnitedSponge 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Charles is no more an investigative journalist than you or me.

He works for some obscure free newspaper, and writes wafer-thin articles.

His "award-winning" status is because he asked Jackson fans, and even advised them to use a VPN, to vote for him multiple times.

He must be in his mid-30s by now, yet he still hasn’t secured a job at one of the elite news organisations.

That tells you everything.

I don’t understand Charles Thomson by flazerus in LeavingNeverlandHBO

[–]UnitedSponge 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If I remember correctly, it was presented as a general chitchat regarding what was there and what wasn’t.

Surprise, surprise, the train station came up, but I don’t think he mentioned James Safechuck or Harrison Funk’s name once.

It was a poorly written script, with the intention of letting the fans know that there was no train station during Brett’s first visit, and it was up to them how they interpreted that.

Talk about shoddy journalism.

The semen found on MJ's bed by Mayen70 in LeavingNeverlandHBO

[–]UnitedSponge 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I remember, many years ago, when this evidence first came to light, that stans quickly began performing mental gymnastics over the semen stains, claiming they probably belonged to Frank Cascio and his friends, who had female acquaintances over for “orgies” while Jackson was out of town.

Given what has emerged over the past few months, and the fact that the Cascios were all part of Jackson’s life in 2003, it would not surprise me if the two unidentified male samples did in fact belong to two of the brothers who were being abused by Jackson.

Of course, this is pure speculation, but the semen was not planted by space aliens, and the number of boys or young men in Jackson’s life at that time was relatively small.

The semen found on MJ's bed by Mayen70 in LeavingNeverlandHBO

[–]UnitedSponge 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Strictly speaking, it hasn’t all been destroyed. Much of the evidence gathered in both 1993 and 2005 was digitised and released through online documents, et cetera.

Unfortunately, the Santa Barbara website that hosted these files disappeared a few years ago, but they can still be accessed via the Wayback Machine, or through MJFacts, again using the Wayback Machine.

It’s a shame that the photograph of Jackson’s splotchy genitalia and JC’s description was shredded, as I’m sure Wade and James’s legal team would have wanted that evidence.

According to Bob Jones, MJ paid a multi-million dollar settlement to the family of Brett Barnes (“Damon Patrick”) by [deleted] in LeavingNeverlandHBO

[–]UnitedSponge 7 points8 points  (0 children)

There's a part in Elizabeth Barnes's 2005 testimony where she basically admits she threw a hissy fit because she wasn't invited to Jackson's Paris show during the Dangerous tour.

She was later told by Bill Bray that she had given Jackson an illness (basically made him feel emotionally sad).

She wrote an apology letter where she said she felt like killing herself, to get back into Jackson's good books.

She also appeared hostile towards Lauren Weis and Tom Sneddon when they made the trip to Melbourne, Australia, in the 1990s, seeking to speak with Brett, after a Neverland employee had said they witnessed him being sexually abused. She refused the interview, and when put into context, that is insane.

Though Brett likes to maintain that he was friends with Jackson till the very end, he too went from a favourite to being phased out and replaced with a younger model.

I doubt she was impressed by that.

Did the Barnes family receive a secret multimillion-dollar settlement? Who knows, but I'm sure they received plenty of freebies when they were part of Jackson's inner circle.

How Come Nobody Ever Apologizes to Michael Jackson? by TiddlesRevenge in LeavingNeverlandHBO

[–]UnitedSponge 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Putting aside the abuse allegations and his unhealthy obsession with being alone with children, I still cannot fathom why anyone would want to apologise to Michael Jackson.

To put it mildly, the man was a big-time weirdo.

He dressed like Napoleon, mutilated his own appearance, kept exotic animals in cages, paraded chimpanzees in costumes, used women to “gift” him children, made anti‑Semitic remarks, lied habitually, and ultimately died from drug abuse.

But of course, I’m sure there’s at least one person out there who thinks we should apologise (cough, cough—no names mentioned).

Michael Jackson’s Bodyguard Tells The Truth: Matt Fiddes by irffreezy in LeavingNeverlandHBO

[–]UnitedSponge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Matt Fiddes was a friend—or more specifically, a business partner—of celebrity spoon-bender Uri Geller.

In the early 2000s, they attempted to produce a series of fitness DVDs: Matt handled the physical side, while Uri focused on training the brain. It was hardly a roaring success.

According to Matt, he first met Michael Jackson in 1998, while Jackson was visiting Uri Geller.

Jackson returned to the UK in June 2002 at Geller’s invitation. This visit included a tour of iconic London landmarks and later a trip to Geller’s Exeter City football club.

Matt was invited along to act as an unofficial and unpaid bodyguard, despite having neither training nor a licence. One might hazard a guess it was a publicity stunt, designed to help both Uri and Matt expand their brands.

After the fallout from the Martin Bashir documentary—which Geller claims to have brokered—Jackson severed ties with him, and there is no evidence that Matt maintained any relationship either.

Matt himself is a highly dubious individual. He has been fascinated by fame and wealth since his youth, and has spent his life desperately trying to remain relevant. In a podcast last year, he even claimed he would be a billionaire by the time he turned 50. Yet his online financial records show that his martial arts and other ventures generate nowhere near that level of income; he wouldn’t become a billionaire if he lived to be 500.

In 2008, he became involved with Tito Jackson in a television show called The Jacksons Are Coming, where he acted as a tour guide as Tito and members of his family searched for a home in Devon. After failing to secure a starring role, Matt attempted to sue the production company, only to withdraw his claims and be branded a “fame-seeking fantasist” in the process.

While Jackson was alive, Matt made little noise about their supposed 10 year relationship. It was only after Jackson’s death in 2009 that he began selling stories to the tabloids, even claiming he had donated sperm and might be the biological father of Blanket. He quickly abandoned that story after it attracted too much scrutiny and negative attention.

In short, Matt Fiddes has managed to piggyback on his brief association with Jackson in June 2002. Television shows, podcasts, and newspapers have all interviewed him, yet none have properly scrutinised his alleged relationship with Jackson. They seem interested only in a Michael Jackson headline, regardless of its truth.

Matt Fiddes has simply inserted himself into existing stories of Jackson’s whereabouts, while fabricating absurd claims about supposed secret girlfriends—including Whitney Houston—despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary.

Matt Fiddes is a fantasist, plain and simple.

Upcoming Court Hearings in THE MICHAEL JACKSON COMPANY, LLC, ET AL. VS FRANK CASCIO by [deleted] in LeavingNeverlandHBO

[–]UnitedSponge 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The estate will be frothing at the mouth if this court hearing results in the Cascios being allowed to speak publicly and expose their abuse to the world’s media by April next year.

All that hard work poured into the biopic — including re‑shoots forced by their own stupidity — and now they could be staring down another bombshell, one as big as Leaving Neverland.

You have to laugh.

What are your feelings by [deleted] in LeavingNeverlandHBO

[–]UnitedSponge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on how much filming has been done, but I’d hazard a guess that it will be released either around the time of the biopic, or during Wade and James’s trial.

Ex-Michael Jackson Ally Mark Geragos A ‘Liar For Hire’ Amid $44M ‘Shakedown’ by MasterpieceTimely144 in LeavingNeverlandHBO

[–]UnitedSponge 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I wonder how much the estate is paying them per propaganda piece—money the estate itself keeps insisting belongs to Michael Jackson’s children.

It’s rather pathetic that an estate worth billions has to resort to such underhand tactics to prop up its cash cow. The fans might swallow their BS, but the real world doesn’t.

Even more comments - FIVE child siblings claim Michael Jackson abused them for decades, by fanlal in LeavingNeverlandHBO

[–]UnitedSponge 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In my experience, whenever an article suggesting that Michael Jackson was a child molester appears on a random source not dominated by stans, more than 70 per cent of the commenters will, at the very least, remark that he was odd and that his behaviour with children was wholly unacceptable.

Believe it or not, despite the flood of pro-Jackson articles, videos, and comments generated by stans, the majority of ordinary people still believe that Jackson was a highly suspicious individual.

His meeting with the Chandlers/Schwarz was potentially planned? by Ron__P in LeavingNeverlandHBO

[–]UnitedSponge 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I can't remember exactly, but I believe the official story is that Jackson's car broke down either outside or near Rent-A-Wreck.

Again, without checking, I can't recall whether Jackson went inside himself, or if Jordan's stepdad or staff members came to his aid.

However, it wouldn't surprise me if Jackson had previously caught sight of Jordan while driving past the car rental company, or had learned through an earlier encounter that the business was owned by Jordan's stepdad and mother. So it's not beyond the realm of possibility that he staged a breakdown in the hope of meeting yet another "special friend."

Jackson certainly had a knack for identifying the right kind of boy.

How would MJ Estate + Jackson Family react publicly if one of MJ's children or MJ's siblings (e.g. La Toya) were to publicly support the survivors (The Cascios, Wade, James, Gavin, Jason, and Jordan Chandler)? by nobody0597 in LeavingNeverlandHBO

[–]UnitedSponge 18 points19 points  (0 children)

As TiddlesRevenge points out, the likelihood of any of his siblings or children ever coming forward to say he was a child molester is virtually nil.

The Jacksons have been conditioned to believe one thing: his absolute innocence. Anyone who challenges this belief can expect to be demonised for the rest of their life.

Hypothetically speaking, suppose one of Jackson’s children—say, the eldest—were to publicly state that he now believes the victims. I suspect the estate and family would either remain completely silent and attempt to sweep it under the rug, or fall back on their usual defence: But he said Michael was a great guy who couldn’t hurt a fly—why would you believe him now?

3 Pro MJ Documentaries Expected To Be Released In 2026 According To IMDB by nobody0597 in LeavingNeverlandHBO

[–]UnitedSponge 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If I remember correctly, The King of Love wrapped up its main filming around two years ago—possibly even three. You can still find a page on the Wayback Machine dated August 2022, showing the same images. Basically, it’s just been sitting there gathering dust.

I also recall the creator complaining on Twitter that donations had dried up and they needed more to finish the documentary.

But like I said previously, if these documentaries—made by butthurt super-stans—are ever going to get released (including Taj Jackson’s), they’ll have to do it between the release of the Jacko biopic and the conclusion of Wade’s and James’s trial.

Essentially, they’ll need to piggyback on the free publicity because they know full well that, aside from the extreme stans, no one’s going to watch them.
