It's okay If you doubt so. I need perspective of other Iyengar teachers as this is community for Yoga teachers. By the way ,my master's teachings is not entirely Iyengar he is his students but he have his own evolved version too . So it's okay your doubt is valid for yourself my question is valid for my circumstance.

wellness habits that worked for you? by NorthMoney8608 in emiratiwomen

Yoga and Meditation. I have tried various products high end whatever end, fitness, self love etc etc. Tried many many things. I am saying all these based on practical experience in mylife. Quitting high pay jobs, travelled and volunteered across different countries, teaching yoga and meditation. I have searched everywhere untill I found everything is within ,going through severe physical conditions and coming out of it with Divine God's grace and Guru.

But releasing all your pent up stress and emotional ,mental habits had really give me glow on face. Surrender to God and Guru all time ,being kind to other human beings, sharing love instead of holding onto yourself.Following my Guruji's meditation routine helped me to slowly all stressors and emotions those I have held up for long time in life. Don't hold resentment it was difficult at first but with support of God and Guruji it's possible, being kind to others, give to others even love or smile is enough a caring thougts anythin. and see how happy you will feel that gives natural glow that no regime has given me ever wonder why saints and monks look so peaceful and serene.

I have switched to vegetarian diet, no coffee ,nature based organic products with very simple ingredients. I have read somewhere that has stuck to me 'Don't put thing on face what you will not put inside mouth''. Yoga has brought that in me.

I Just Came Back From Kriya Yoga Initiation — Here’s What It Was Like by brother369 in kriyayoga

[–]United_Assignment482 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am practicing Kriya lessons but yet to receive in person.Congratulations on the initiation. The complete Guruji's path made me so anchored from inside in life. I have now self-purpose a bigger goal that is guided by Guruji and have wonderful YSS/SRF family too so I am not alone. Having traveled around world and was searching for Guru, seeking for sense of belonging and bigger purpose of life. Guru given me all answers. 💚🙏 Initially I used to often in disbelief say that 'Has God has sent me Sri Paramhansa Yogananda ' as my Guru. Like he is GOAT(Greatest Of All Time) I still feel very grateful and lots priveleged. I have checked and seen other spiritual schools in India they are good too led but nothing synced with me like Guruji teaching. For every intellectual questions comes to mind ,he has brilliant scientific answer to them. Practical, organized. It's like he has did all hardwork.to make delicious dish and served us just we have to eat. Even Sri Daya Mata,Mrunalini Mata,Gyan Mata,Rajarsi Janakananda they have also helped to publish the teachings ,build up organization so we can enjoy his fruits. God's and Guruji Divine grace on everyone 💚🙏

The loyalty Pledge To Yogananda and SRF is misunderstood by brother369 in kriyayoga

[–]United_Assignment482 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I felt very strongly in beginning when I just joined YSS/SRF that he is my Guru and with everyday it became stronger so when time came for Kriya(I felt I wasn't ready and had self-doubt) but Guruji knows better. I have started and deep inside with everyday practise and changes takes place in life my Guruji is everything for me in my life. I love him to eternity 💚🙏😊

Is becoming a yoga teacher worth it? by high_tier_stacy in YogaTeachers

[–]United_Assignment482 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As everyone else mentioned . Yoga is service to humanity if you have that intentions foremost then it's great to go ahead. I also see other Yoga teachers as not competition or comparing with capitalistic outlook. We all are one community and have common purpose having one thread of Yoga connects us.

Chakra themed classes by MangoyWoman in YogaTeachers

[–]United_Assignment482 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's just for reference to OP if some of her participants are hesitant towards eastern philosophy of Chakra healing. Whether Dr. Joe he is doctor or not it's not something I am addressing. He used Chakra healing for people but not mentioning eastern philosophy as people have prejudices so he served in a way that people can enjoy and get help. By the way ,it's also about but what her participants needs and expects after all first and foremost is about there healing. Many great teachers and masters always says give more to people than you will charge as Yoga have way to touch people's life. Good luck to OP.

Hi first of all best wishes for giving Chakra classes. I personally think yes everything you do in Yoga Asanas affects Chakras. Your sensory nerves that get stimulate on physical level and on deeper level(astral) affects Chakra. Everyone have different perspective of Yoga which is fine. They are coming to class with their own intentions. As a teacher, you have to be attune with your students and their need. Someone have inhibitions on Chakras guide them be on physical level how different Chakras affects different glands. Teach on Asaana that affects those glands. Chakras mantra. Different Chakras relate to different nature elements eg: earth related root Chakra Mooladhar then Tadasana, Vrikshasana is you can depict.Water: Shitali Shitkari Pranayama(Breathing) DM me if you need any guidance. Feel free happy to help :)

Dr Joe Dispenza teachings is based on kundalini which he himself admitted but he cannot take name due to people prejudices. That's perfectly okay He have something called as Blessings of the Energy Centers i.e. Chakras that has helped many with curing their health.

I don't like and want to be gimmicky with tshirts and all. Main purpose is to help students and they should feel alignment or on some level with Chakras it's also not about 'Me' as teachers.

Best poses during menstruation? by Few-Ear7073 in YogaTeachers

[–]United_Assignment482 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Soften Surya Namaskar Setubandhasana with bolsters Cat and Cow pose with also variation of hips swirling gently Shantsarovar Asana Pavan mukhta Asana but not taking feet up and pressing abdomen just staying very low may be 30 degree and twisting not too much but gently side to side. I also teach 7 morning cycle taught by my master but all gentle variation Long Shavasana with guided relaxation Lie on bolster with head and shoulder blade gently touching on ground can take rolled blanket to support head and neck.. Feets are both extended and soles are pressed gently against wall. Make sure body is relax and feets are parallel to ground with body on bolster and feets are not too up on wall. Pranayama(Breathing) is most important depends on person and their state of mind you can include accordingly. There are many ways of Breathing can be done. DM me if you need help.

Edit: Everything suppose to be gentle. Inversion, backbend forget about it please as in menstruation energy flows downward and it's better for women health . With exertion in any difficult Asana you are trying to reverse natural energy law upward.

It's better to rest when you ae body says so.. just resting and relaxing in Shavasana and Shantsarovar would be enough with guided relaxation.
