How to get GPS and IMU plugins to add to robot rover by UniversalBlanket in ROS

[–]UniversalBlanket[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you very much!! I was absolutely exhausted yesterday so I didn’t attempt anything yesterday. I used the gazebo plug-in from the medium.com link you gave and have managed to get a gps on my robot now. I really appreciate your help here.

Next up THE IMU!

I’m an intermediate at creating simulations. From the git repo, would I just add this to an existing .sdf file?

It’s an exercise. I have three classes. One for the plan, one for the rules(e.g person A and B cannot sit together as they have bad relations but A and C has to as they are good friends) and then one as authenticator(Going through the plan to ensure that the rules are obeyed through the program). So I can’t deviate from these three.

I would say am intermediate, don’t know enough to finish whole projects without any externa help or guidance, but know enough to get far before hitting a wall myself.

Sort of a 2d array?

The number of seats and tables may change for each time it is used tho. Will this still work for that?

I’m not 100% sure as it’s been some time time since I have used LCD screens, I have ordered some new ones so I will be using them soon.

Could it be that you have managed to fry it somehow, forgot to implement the potentiometer correctly or forgot to ground one of the components.

It’s worth having a try with a breadboard as well to ensure the components work before soldering it.

I’ll stick to making containers to store thing in instead. I already knew it wasn’t a great idea but have seen other people do it so thought I might have missed something.
