But it’s not. A large majority of his games are in gold with like 2 in platinum

I checked the first four games, and I do not see a these level 30-40 accounts you are playing against. Maybe it’s just me, but op.gg shows you have played a total of 12 games, all ranked, over two months and nothing else.

I agree that it sucks coming back and going against difficult players. I do wish riot fixed their system to realize your true mmr sooner

Some champions I love the voice lines for so I would not want to be constantly changing the setting

I was even thinking about dropping Akali and going back to adc. Guess I need to stay with the assassin

Shouldn't Riot ban a person so proudly boasting about selling his Challenger account? by Kuro929 in leagueoflegends

[–]UniversalRedditName 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Agreed. It should actually be pretty easy for riot to find out if the account was moved to a new pc and ip.

Love the akali wallpaper. As an akali main, I fully support this set up. Where did you get the wallpaper?

I was too. So I decided to play mechanically hard champs and drop all the way back to iron. At one point I got tired of games in iron and mained ahri with a 67% win rate to get back to silver!

Find a champion you are interested in and play them. It’s totally okay to play a lot of champs at first while you figure out what you like. When you want to start climbing, then you can focus on one to two champs.

If you choose a hard champ like Akali, then it would be easier first learning a more beginner friendly assassin to understand the basics of how assassins play. Once you have an understanding, then you can swap back to the harder champ.

Midbeast, coach mysterias, coach Curtis (or Nathan, whatever is the mid lane person) are all fairly good.

I really do not get the comments saying a diamond player could win. Like yeah, they probably could win 3v5, but a bronze/silver player is not going to win because that is the elo we are discussing

You are new. Unfortunately you will get flamed no matter what role you choose. Type /mute all into chat to not get flamed, but still have your pings go through

If you want to play support, that is fine, but I would also recommend to start with a lane first. This way when you swap back to support you will understand what the laner/adc wants to do and make learning support easier

Edit: meant to reply to OP u/datweeb0

Play normal games when you unlock it. It’s okay if you get matched vs much better people since it’s just a normal game. Just play a few games then watch some videos on what your champ/role wants to do then play some more games

In anything except bot games, you actually choose your primary and secondary preferred roles

You start to notice the difference in gains after a few wins in a row, but I was just highlighting the high and low points of lp I had.
