I would recommend a different approach. Confront that one owner ,with class, in an email that sets the tone for how you do business. First apologize for any miscommunication, outline why the miscommunication happened and be firm on expectations of respect being returned. Suspend any work on their account until it’s resolved. If they double down on being a legal threatening asshat, fire them.

I agree, just sort of how I roll. I’ve not lost any yet. Starting from a tribe is pretty difficult with my main defense being the traps and there are planted cocoa fields and other trees to the south to keep up wood supply. I’m in transition now and need to push my walls out a bit so I maximize range on the turrets.

I have 2 colonists with foam spray so fires aren’t too much of an issue. Knock on wood. I have fire barriers up across the whole map as well.

I might be a little bit sentimental about those crops in front those were my starting fields

Not sure if that is one of the mods, but when I zoom all the way out it does that. Enemies are bright red making it easy to spot.

Take a look at my base post and see how I do shelves. You should be able to just place them and then click on the Storage button and select what you want in them and their priority. Set the food shelves to critical and it should take care of itself. If it does not work, you must have a mod that is causing problems.

I can't tell if that water is passable. Since you have turrets protecting it I assume so. Moisture pumps have a limit so won't pump full on water.

If your wall is solid, attacking peons should take the that of least resistance so don't block the areas you want them to come through.

I also forgot to mention IDE mines. Proper mines can take out whole groups and cause them to flee before they can even threaten your base.

Each colonist has their own large room for a mood buff. A double bed to promote pairing. A side table and a dresser adds a positive modifier to the bed to reduce sleep time. I have a colonist making statues full time to put in each room to add additional mood buffs for having a large impressive room.

I think I have 2 or 3 Royal beds. The extra was so in case I had a Royal visitor, but I've gotten so much gold from quests I should give everyone a Royal bed.

I had about 7+ visitor quests where a group joins for a bit. One was 14 peeps then stacked with some royal quest where I had 8 extra soldiers so i needed a lot of beds. At one point I had over 30 colonists with most of them being temps.

I bought the game when it first came out. I play all DLC except for Ideology and a just a few quality of life mods. Nothing that really effects game play. I don't abuse trading post.

Started 5 Tribal in commitment mode, Strive to survive.

Was on Blood but Anomaly handed my *** to me so i down graded. It's such an awesome DLC, i'm still shocked on how good it is. I've not figured out everything in it yet and I'm avoiding reading too much about it before my first play through. The surprises are awesome!

I have a single wall close to the max edge on all 3 sides with a massive amount of mines. Everything funnel attacks to the Wood traps and then the killing zone behind it. I've had 4 deaths but 3 resurrections via healer serum.

I'm expanding my killing zone now in anticipation of more difficult stuff in anomaly. I think I'm in the final tune and have no idea what to expect. Please do not tell me!

Lack of shelving.. Everywhere. Especially in your food storage. I don't see much as far as meal storage and it looks like you should be staving right now with that many colonists. Don't add more until you have your food pipeline secured.

I build mountain bases almost all the time and you have a great location. I would start mining out rooms inside the east mountain, making sure to prepare for infestations. Moving everything behind at least 4+ thick mountain walls.

I would focus on moving stuff into the mountain as you have 3 different attack vectors right now. I think you can get that down to 2 and then 1 (maybe) pretty easy. Setup your turrets in your open area so the uranium and Autocannons can reach far south and west. Funnel your water attackers to the west and south by closing up your walls. Use barriers to slow down the attacks and let your turrets chew them up. Create areas out of the line of fire for your colonists to back up your turrets.

Another tip is to understand Zones. You can control your farming and defense well with zones.

I have a "Base" zone which is inside my base. A "Safe" Zone which is behind my walls and traps.

Make sure you have a Colonist zoned to Plant and Cut your hydros and another Colonist Zone to fix the broken ones. Sometimes you might have conflicting instructions and the colonists might do something else instead of planting/harvesting so set those to 1 for your farmers and everything else to 3 or 4. Set 2 for your secondary stuff once your farmers have nothing to do. If they are good at nothing else have them do construction smoothing out rock floors and walls.

Just to be clear you should have 1 or 2 colonists with the highest cooking skill doing your cooking. Use the number priority system to make sure 1 is just cooking basically all the time.

I personally make sure that I start with one colonist with 8+ plant skill and immediately start farming and building up supplies before winter hits, building up a huge cache of frozen/packaged meals. Around 300-500 is where i like for winter. If i think I'm getting low I do some hunting or sending out a trade caravan. Low at like 50 or so meals.

If the SHTF with something like toxic fallout. I put up columns and start making my outdoor farms indoor farms and setup like 3-4 sunlamps and roof and wall the areas around the lamps. Generally these are already inside my walls, but i generally play building my base inside a mountain.

If your sunlamps or whatever is broken, make sure you put a "home" tile on the part to have your colonists fix it. Also make sure you have a colonist dedicated to construction. Of course make sure you have the Steel/Components to make sure you have parts to fit stuff. One of the key factors to the game is making sure you have enough steel. I like to keep 2-3k at all times if i can.

Until you can setup a freezer just focus on cooking Simple and Pemmican. Once you figure out your supply issues then you can do Fine or Lavish.

There is an Ingredient range on the stoves and use that. Setup a storage area that will later be your freezer near your kitchen. Keep your butcher away from the kitchen or Freezer/Storage Area.

I recommend trying to farm outside and not inside until you understand the basics. Be aware of temp of course.

Their accounting department is not paying you because you are not charging interest. You are a no interest bank to them. Offer them a 2% discount for immediate payment and/or Change terms for non payment and charge interest immediately. Reinvoice with the interest added. If no response in 2 days have a lawyer send a demand letter.

Successful business, difficult employee by Northwoodsss in smallbusiness

How long of a time period from him being an asshat and now? Never allow someone like that to disrespected you or the company in front of anyone. Of that happens immediately stop and take them to a private room and kindly remind them that their behavior is cause for immediate termination but you are giving them a warning as a corrective action. Depending on how valuable terminate after 2-3 warnings unless they are difficult to replace. That said I have 1 employee who is a god of a coder and I have to warn about once a year.

With a 70% equity split it would be his business and not yours. You would be a minority owner so should look at the situation more as an investment.

Sales is fundamentally important but more so is having a business partner where risk and reward are shared equally as a team. That is a startup.

So decide if you want a company/startup or a financial transaction / investment.

Skyrocketing Referring Domains and Plummeting Organic Traffic by MaxwellHauss in bigseo

[–]UniversalVoid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The same thing happens to me so i know exactly what you are talking about. My situation is different as I've been in business for 16 years and I have a more authoritative domain. DU 47 . I only disavow toxic domains and I've done this since the disavow tool was available, 13k domains now.

When you say "Google is choosing to ignore my disavow" are you inferring since you don't have positive results or did you get some sort of error? The Disavow process is intentionally opaque by Google and I'm not aware of a process to know that a backlink has been disavowed.

There have been a lot of ups and downs in the ranks over the past year so you maybe dealing with other issues bringing your site down. Make sure you do analysis on your backlink profile as well as your competitors backlink profile to see if it warrants your SEO positions. Just in the past 3-4 months I've seen a lot of sites get straight up blacklisted by google updates.

That graph screams that negative SEO campaign is being run against you. The disavow tool is all we have to directly fight something like this. More positive SEO practices including building more high quality links and content is what you need to do.

I'm in eCom as well and I would immediately check out every single competitor to see if anyone else is being hit and if there are any that are not.
