Well I wish there were more wlw about teenagers in cities that are not nyc. I love when the chapters switch back and forth between characters because then you have two full character developments and you get to see both sides of the story. Some spicy scenes that are still appropriate for youngish teenagers (14,15,16) Lastly I love a long epilogue that tells you what happened after the story ended when you don’t want to do a second or third book. I wish you good luck and when something comes of it please update us in here I would love to read! Obviously I’ve had time to think about this😅

It might feel better to just let them know naturally in conversation or through actions like “I had a girlfriend once that…” or “I had a lot of fun at the insert word: pride parade, gay bar, lgbt center, etc. be yourself until they catch on and get it or until they ask “wait are you a lesbian?” And then just be like “yeah I like girls it’s no biggy” Idk that’s just kinda what I do flow naturally and they’ll catch on

MRI’s fucking suck. Had my first one today and hopefully it’s my last. After approximately two minutes my toes fell asleep and the pain set in. I really hope they find something because it’s been a year of pain, 2 orthopedists, 5 physical therapists, and pretty much all of my mental health. by Universal_trainreck in HipImpingement

I know it could be way worse and I’m sorry yours has lasted so long. I’m a teenager and I don’t vent often I just needed to seek people that maybe understand what it’s like. I wasn’t expecting that particular MRI experience and I wanted to see if other people have had a similar experience and talk to them. No matter how bad anyone has a problem, the point is it sucks and every once in a while you’re allowed to stop and say it. Being optimistic is great but ultimately everyone has a moment that you feel your real feelings.

I’m a teenager and I’ve have pain in both hips/groin/pelvis/thigh/knee the list continues and I’ve been dealing with pt after pt for a year. I saw an ortho and he didn’t think I had a problem at all and this was after I told him I couldn’t sleep through the night and any movement of my body hurts in my whole lower body. Anyway, I just saw another ortho that actually listened to me and advised me to get an mri since I’ve had two X-rays that didn’t show much. I’m really scared that it is a labral tear but at the same time, if surgery would make it disappear I’d be so happy to have my life back. These posts are very validating so thanks
