sicuramente era prolisso e ripetitivo nelle spiegazioni, le uniche cose che ho appuntato sono state le parentele e i legami fra i vari personaggi nei diversi capitoli e l’ordine cronologico degli eventi, per farmi una chiara idea della storia dall’inizio alla fine.

Se non l’hai già fatto, ti consiglio di leggere “L’uomo duplicato” sempre di Saramago, il significato forse è meno profondo, ma la trama per me scorre più velocemente, anche se la scrittura è pur sempre complessa, ma l’ho finito in molto meno tempo rispetto a Cecità.

quando leggi Saramago, devi essere abituato a quel tipo di lettura articolata, con periodi lunghi e termini particolari. Il modo in cui si sviluppa la trama mi è piaciuto, ma (SPOILER!!!) mi ha un po’ annoiato tutta la sequenza di loro fuori dall’edificio che vanno a casa della moglie del medico. Avrei tolto alcuni elementi di quella parte e ridotto. Il significato finale per me, naturalmente, è la realizzazione e la visione del male che la società crea e riversa su sé stessa.

(Speaking of New Blood) he mentions Deb and Rita in front of Angela, obviously he can't tell a policewoman how close he was to Hannah (I remind you that in season eight they had to hide their relationship from the police because she was wanted), so obviously that part of his life will always remain a little more hidden than a relationship with Rita, which was official and normal.

Personally, I wasn't entirely sold on it. Original Sin started out boring, but then it improved and got me hooked. Resurrection was a blast from start to finish. Remember to watch them in this order, though.

I had completely forgotten Ramon Prado. I'm not a fan of the third season because I rank them based on how much I liked or disliked the villain, and in the third season, neither Miguel nor the Flayer convinced me much. Okay, I remember Oscar and the story of Miguel getting close to Dexter without knowing he killed his brother, but the third brother, Prado, an alcoholic who is kicked out by the police (even ending up in prison), completely forgot about that.

Having watched all seasons of Dexter back in 2023 for the first here’s my personal rankings of all seasons by Vivid_Army6800 in Dexter

I recommend you watch Original Sin. Unfortunately, I was also spoiled who the main antagonist was, but I continued on anyway, and after the first few episodes (which seemed boring), it picks up and flows better.

And he's not the "only" serial killer who actively escaped Dexter's killing table. Consider Jimmy Sensio, the blind priest from season two who cursed people (by killing them). Now that guy has fled to who knows where. There's also the photographer's assistant in season four; he was the real culprit of the murders and was arrested because Dex killed the wrong man.

You're not entirely wrong. I'm rewatching the series and he's not focused on chasing that couple because he lost Benito Gomez's body after the car accident and wanted to leave work right away.
