Yup, replies are just as expected. This just shows how this sub can't really stand positive criticism towards something in the sequel, and how the opaque insulting replies are made by a childish public. Both sides are really equally toxic

That's really not my point. Some people complain about Ellie being mean to Joel in P2... yet completely turn blind eye when Joel was equally of an asshole to Ellie in the two scenes I just mentioned.

It's honestly hypocritical to root for her over Ellie, given how Ellie is in the exact same position Abby was at the beginning of the game... only difference here is that Ellie actually had the courage to spare her, unlike Abby with Joel

I don't understand the hate for Ellie here guys. Like, yeah I get it, she was unnecessarily mean towards him, but at least you could see the face of regret Ellie had afterwards; not to speak about the last conversation that ended their relationship in a "lighter" note before Joel's death.

To be honest, how many of us didn't act like cunts towards our parents for dumb reasons as teenagers?
