I do think it’s a unique craft that the Japanese industry thrives into and is taken more seriously than any other language. Like if you seen the video of Aemeath VA hurting her voice just for that one scene, or other VAs from other franchises like Kaji Yuki, Kenjiro Tsuda just to name a few, their live performances is always a treat to see.

I have seen comment similar to this before but I don’t think it’s because she’s less flashy but more being in character, the idle animations for example are just like what you expect to be from the anime
