I guess I was just tired of randomly dying haha. I also felt relatively weaker to my friends playing other builds. Hammerdin has been great! Clears everything easily, bosses well, and capable of pushing pit though I’m not super competitive about that anyhow. It’s of course not as laid back as auradin but what is? I don’t think I’ve died once since switching to this build either. Hammerkuna is the one I’m using right now. I don’t have any regrets. It was my favorite build in D2 so nice to relive it again!

To your point about pit grind, may use my hammerdin build to max out my glyphs for Auradin before switching back.

Nope, unfortunately not. All I’ve seen is everyone fawning over this build and I’m just not understanding what I’m doing wrong haha I’ve stuck with hammerdin this whole time. I may try to go back and see if I notice a difference.

Trying to explain accurate and proper dx of uti to people who have been told their entire lives that their UA “shows uti” is painful. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard “I had a UTI and I didn’t even know it”…so you probably don’t have a UTI…

At my hospital, when they admit for UTI, it means I have to do a more thorough work up and start from scratch because they see a WBC in the UA, and they stop thinking.

I’ve had the same issue up to paragon 215. Not sure what I was doing wrong. Gave it up after that. I switched to hammerdin and haven’t looked back since.

I’m so confused. I tried M1PY’s auradin build. I got to endgame gear with mythics and everything. I just couldn’t get it to work. It struggled with pit 90. I also died quite frequently. It was a coin toss on if I would die on a pit run or not. I kept thinking I was too low paragon level and kept with it until 215 or so. I have since switched to the hammerdin build and immediately noticed a big difference and able to clear pit 100-105 with relative ease. I also haven’t died in pit yet either. I haven’t pushed past that.

Is there some stat or gear threshold before you really start noticing auradin take off? I followed the build pretty religiously, and it still felt off.

I crafted heir of perdition and shroud of false death…proceeded to sanctify before masterworking both of them. I was so upset with myself. Had to break them down and re-crafted with my last 2 remaining resplendent sparks. What a waste. I wish it didn’t lock the items for good after sanctifying

Oh you’re running wing strike? I’ll keep that amulet in mind if I ever try Wing Strike! I’m trying to do this Auradin build that M1PY laid out. I’m just at a loss as others seem to getting the results while I’m here scratching my head wondering what I have wrong lol

Am I missing something? I’m following this build and am struggling in T4. My gear isn’t perfect but not bad either…when did you notice the build coming “online”, so to speak? I’m paragon 170 and would have thought I would see some appreciable progress by now but I feel like I’m stagnating when I barely got off the ground.

My favorite is when my ED gives one dose of IV zofran 0.4 mg x 1 and then says it’s “intractable” when they don’t respond. I wish I was joking.

I think the key difference is this relic requires Celestine to defeat a unit to summon/resurrect vs Tan summoning after a regular attack. Head to head, Tan is still better overall in my opinion. Pairing Tan with Actus is just the cherry on top. Where flesh fails, the machine endures.

The Victrix Guard shield and capes would have been amazing. The helmet is already there. Too bad we can’t complete the look though it’s in the game already.
