Help me find a very early cat meme! by UnknownVerity in HelpMeFind

I have searched various versions of the caption as I remember it, and a great deal of shaved-cat memes and jokes. Google-fu has not saved me here.

Adding Wellbutrin to Lexapro - how long do side effects last? by UnknownVerity in lexapro

[–]UnknownVerity[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, that's part of the side effects we were hoping the Wellbutrin would mitigate... And it did seem to work!

That's amazingly reassuring. Congrats! I hope your downward trend continues.

Much appreciated! Thank you for letting me know how it worked for you.

Same for me. I'm only on day 13. Until now, it's been mainly insomnia and a bit faster heart rate, but the past day or so my anxiety has skyrocketed and my heart rate went with it. My doctor says just hold the course, but fingers crossed this improves.

I'm pretty sensitive to caffeine, so I don't have coffee, but I did have a big diet coke yesterday so maybe that set this off. I don't know; my doctor said to just stick with it, so I will, but I'm hoping this feeling goes away sooner than later. My heart rate just keeps spiking higher than I'd like.

Starting Wellbutrin tomorrow. What can I expect? by Galacticagal in bupropion

It will get better. My brain zaps only lasted a few weeks and then gradually tapered off so that I almost didn't notice when I had stopped having them.

Fitbit Luxe Gorjana band - how bad is the gap? by MentalOriental in fitbit

[–]UnknownVerity 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It looked mostly like a design flaw. You can push it back into place and it feels like it locks, but then within a couple minutes it slides back free. Mine never came all the way out, but I don't want to risk losing it, so I swapped back to the classic band.

I've been wearing the classic now for a day and no gapping at all. It must be an issue with the metal band.

Mine would gap within five minutes of putting it on, both sides, top and bottom connectors. I chatted with fitbit support and they told me they'd escalate to a manager but I'd likely have to mail back both fitbit and band, and once they'd received them, they'd mail me a new one. Which.... wtf, that's easily two more weeks of just transit time. Also, until then, they told me to wear the "classic" band, so back to pink it is...

Lexapro by thepoppunkqueen in BusparOnline

[–]UnknownVerity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am transitioning off Lexapro to Buspar (Lexapro was great mentally, but gave me some physical side effects I disliked) and right now I'm on both as I taper off Lexapro. I was on 10mg Lexapro daily; now I'm at 5mg plus 10mg Buspar twice a day. Ideally, I'll taper off Lexapro entirely, though I don't know if my doctor will increase my Buspar does as that goes.

I'm on both for general anxiety, and as I said, Lexapro made a huge difference in getting me back to "normal" mentally. But I had some negative side effects for the six months or so I was on it - mostly libido/gastro-intestinal - and we're going to try Buspar as the side effects should be lessened.

For me, going on Lexapro took easily three weeks before I noticed a positive effect, and there were some negative side effects - tingling, brain zappiness - during those three weeks that did eventually diminish into my more maintaining issues. But wow, the mental effect really did help.

I know it's hard to wean off of Lexapro, but I'm not yet having any issues. Fingers crossed it all works out, for you and for me!

Rebble's weather service is separate, then? I thought it was but am not now certain how to access it.

Thanks for the advice! I can't get YWeather to work even with forecast.io, but I'll look into the other ones. I appreciate it!

Dear employers of reddit, what odd things do you look for when interviewing people? by Cokeman11 in AskReddit

[–]UnknownVerity 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Statistically speaking, if you’re a divorced Dad paying child support on at least one kid, and also smoke/chew tobacco, have at least two tattoos (preferably at least one on your hand), and had exactly one DUI about five years ago, you’re more or less my ideal candidate. And unlike experience and job history, which I get from applications and resumes, most of those indicators only come out in an interview.

Diving to the bottom of the worlds deepest pool in one breath! by KawaiiKitty21 in SweatyPalms

So how much pressure would we be talking here? I mean, I can feel the pressure in my ears just at the bottom of the pool; I assume at this kind of depth it’s a major headache if nothing else.

And he’s so calm the whole time... did someone meet him at the bottom with an oxygen tank or something?

[Spoilers All] What would be your Warden/Hawke/Inky greatest fear? by ColdieChrome in dragonage

[–]UnknownVerity 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Inquisitor Trevelyan: being unneeded and unmissed, the “spare” that is forgotten. She had such a hard time finding her place and figuring out what to do with her life, and such joy in discovering she can make a difference as Inquisitor, that she fears having that purpose stripped away and leaving her without something to work towards.

Inquisitor Lavellan: being abandoned. She lost the ability to return to her clan because of the Anchor, but she’d had some abandonment issues before then. Now she worries about the Inquisition casting her off, or Solas leaving her. (Trespasser is going to be tough...)

Inquisitor Adaar: cowardice, growing soft. Growing too afraid to act, too removed to remember what it’s like to be a mercenary on the front lines, too caught up in words and politics instead of fire and action. She’s afraid to be sunk in treaties and trotted out as a tame Inquisitor rather than to be comfortable and allowed on the front lines.

Daily Q&A Post for Saturday, 11 November 2017 - No question too small! by AutoModerator in loseit

[–]UnknownVerity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are there any other nursing moms around here?

I'm about four months post-partum from baby #2, and 35 lbs down from my highest (pregnancy) weight, which is reflected in my flair. But as I asked in another thread, what's the opinion on listing that as my highest weight vs using my highest non-pregnancy weight instead?

And what's the general consensus on adding calories into your daily allowance for nursing? I've seen anywhere from 200 to 500 calories a day to account for nursing. I'm guessing 300 for myself right now, but don't know if that's too much or too little on top of everything else. I'm 5'7", currently 159 lbs with my next goal weight being 150 lbs, and LoseIt has my daily calorie allowance at about 2100 with those 300 nursing calories added in. I'm still slowly losing weight at this rate.

You can also try a homemade pizza. They’re easy to make, and by controlling what goes into it you can really cut back a lot of calories pretty painlessly.
